FOR the last couple of weeks I've been experimenting with teams to score bets.
There is no doubt in my mind this market is the easiest to win on but possibly not the most profitable if that makes sense.
The problem being many teams are priced extremely short so either you need to put a lot of sides together or stake big for a decent return.
I've placed two eightfolds and a ninefold – on both eightfolds I got one wrong but the ninefold came in paying just over 10-1. My profit on the three lines is £84 – and that's getting 23 out of 25 bets correct.
Earlier today site user Jim Burnside's commented that after some recent success on teams to score he was starting a £10 to £1000 challenge. I wish him well and said I'd put up my selections – I'm not billing mine as a challenge because I'm already doing £10 to £100 ones on the forum.
But let's see if I can get a decent winner and how far he can take his. Like me he is using William Hill shop coupons. Odds will be better online but this takes less time – although Jim has mixed and matches tonight's with teams to score and score 2+.
Also he used teams from the same match (that is both to score) but in all 25 of mine I avoided that. We've picked three teams the same – Everton, Walsall and Wycombe.
