ON the undercard of Bellew v Usyk are two British favourites, Anthony Crolla and Ricky Burns. Both of whom are hoping for victories to keep future world title aspirations alive.

Ricky Burns v Scott Cardle

First up Burns, who lost in the same arena a year ago to Crolla, knows that a victory over Lancashire’s Scotty Cardle is imperative.

This should be a close fight between two solid boxers. Neither boxer carries real knock out power and it would be a surprise if this one finished inside the distance. I think Burns workrate and experience at a higher level should tell and give him the points victory.

  • Burns on points – 5/4 – Ladbrokes, William Hill and Coral

Anthony Crolla v Daud Cino Yordan

Anthony Crolla is another fighter with a great skill set but who doesn’t generally carry much knock out threat.

His world title credentials are in sharper focus than Burns', and he may find himself in the ring challenging for a title in his next fight, if he can overcome a dangerous opponent in Indonesian Daud Yorda.

Yordan does have an impressive knock out percentage and his last two victories came inside the distance. Although this is a step up in class against Crolla, who will be wary of Yordan’s strength. Crolla should be able to use his skills to take advantage of a weak Yordan defence and stay out of trouble to take a comfortable points win.

  • Crolla on points – 8/13 – Ladbrokes, Bet365, William Hill
  • Crolla and Burns on points – 2.65/1 – Ladbrokes, William Hill and Coral
  • Usyk, Crolla and Burns on points – 5.75/1 – Betfair

Good luck fight fans!
