MRF BetOfTheDay

ONE of my favourite markets is teams to score but of course the prices are often too restrictive to tip them.

However, I'm happy enough to do a double that pays evens and that is today's Bet of the Day.

First up it's Burton in their first Championship match at home. Nigel Clough's side netted three in a 4-3 loss at Nottingham Forest last week and will be greeted by a full house of 7000 who will be in celebratory mood.

Burton should at least mark the occasion by scoring against Bristol City.

Add Carlisle to score at home to Plymouth. Carlisle started the season with a decent 1-1 at Portsmouth and face a side who crashed 3-0 at home to Luton. Carlisle can win and should certainly net.

This is for members only and will be a bet that's not listed elsewhere on the site and will be evens at least whenever possible. It will be posted regularly but not every day – depending on the card.

Bet of the Day

  • Burton to score (3pm)
  • Carlisle (3pm)
  • (1-1, Coral)
