I WAS down at the Stadium of Light yesterday and was able to celebrate a 22-1 aways fourfold thanks to Bournemouth's late winner.
The other teams were Celtic, Sheffield Wednesday and Portsmouth and my omly regret was putting on 0.5pts instead of 1pt.
Overall it was a profitable day and as we reach the end of April I'm nearly 50pts in profit which I've got to be satisfied with.
I know Greg did well with two winners and Desmond's 2+ double landed but haven't checked everyone's tips so well done to all those with successes on Saturday.
Sunday's a big day, especially in the English Premier League with Man United v Swansea, Middlesbrough v Man City Everton v Chelsea and Spurs v Arsenal and hopefully more goals than there was yesterday. Citalivey should win well, both to score looks best bet at Goodison and I reckon Spurs will see off their north London rivals to keep their title dream alive.
There is a full League Two card to complete the season with one automatic promotion place, one play-off spot and one relegation place to be decided.
A draw with Peterborough will be enough to give Bolton second spot ahead of Fleetwood who are at home to a Port Vale side who are almost certain to go down unless they win. Southend face Bury, who will escape with a draw, hoping for a slip-up by Millwall at Bristol Rovers as they chase that final play-off place.
On the Continent there are plenty of big games to look out including Roma v Lazio, Inter v Napoli and Nice v PSG.
My Super Single which is a double – Fleetwood and Man City. Fleetwood need to get their result in the bag and hope for the best at Bolton. I can't see them switching off and seemingly they harbour a grudge against Vale who scored a handball winner when they met earlier in the season.
Not much needs to be said about City except nothing but a win will do in their fight for third. Boro are almost done and even a draw is no good so they'll have to try to score and that could leave them exposed against the likes of Sergio Aguero and Co. Aguero is likely to score but is no bigger than 4-6 at Winner.
For the Top Treble I'm taking City to score 2+, Spurs draw no bet and Hoffenheim to beat Eintracht Frankfurt at home. It's not my most insightful treble but I blame that on yesterday's lost day.
