COPPER WEST (2.30) lacks a turn of foot but he has been found a weak race at Carlisle.
His third to Slanelough at Doncaster probably sets the standard and I liked the way Copper West travelled into the race before plugging on into third. With the emphasis on stamina over speed, Copper West should be staying on stoutly up the Carlisle hill.
HENRY'S JOY (2.00) looks the wrong price at 6-1 in some places.
Donald McCain's five-year-old met some smart horses at Bangor when fourth to the Warren Greatrex-trained Don't Ask and has since chased up useful Quick Pick at Sedgefield.
