POUVOIR MAGIQUE (8.15) is a skinny price but will be hard to beat at Newcastle this evening.
John Gosden’s gelding dug deep to repel the strong challenge of Ripp Orf over the straight mile at Newbury and has a course and distance success against his name, also over tonight’s straight mile.
WEATHER FRONT (7.15) represents a stable in form and he makes some appeal on a quiet betting day. The gelding followed up a course and distance victory with a solid effort at Doncaster. Jamie Gormley’s 5lb claim comes in very handy.

Looking at that 8.15pm I think Testa Rosso is a massive price. Got beat a length and half off the favourite last time they met but is 3lb better off. Can get 22/1 on bet365 EW with 4 places and is more than capable of sneaking a place. It is 25/1 on the first 3 but would rather have the extra insurance.

Testa Rossa – a C&D regular, 1.5l 3rd to Pouviere Magique when 11lbs better off over C&D in November. He is 14lbs better off today, with PM carrying 9lbs more than that race. TR has won since but done very little else, and his win does not hold much weight. He was a 3l 6th to Prost who he faces on the same terms today albeit was 7 races ago, His form line reads 6351304.
Sky form show PHIL DENNIS’ last 50 races. He hasnt raced at Newcastle once, he has had only 1 winner (flat season: 10 wins 195 rides), over the previous 14 days 0 wins 0 2nds 3 3rds. Last 6 races have all been big priced horses for Goldie.
Hope this helps a little, the race looks stacked as it is, massive favourite and rock solid jockey/trainer combos throughout, 33s is a big price though and form can go out the window, with 4 places on skybet I can only wish you good luck.
Cheers Database, 28/1 for 4 places only a little play and the drifts a worry but think it’s got chance of a place. Same goes for Suwanni in the 8.45pm. 2 little ew singles and ew double for fun. Think the favs look strong in both races but are 2 short now.
