THERE are plenty of games to choose from on Saturday – unfortunately most are from the FA Cup first round.
It's a minefield to be honest with teams involved from 10 leagues of England's pyramid system.
They range from League One leaders Charlton to Redbridge of Ryman Division One.
Hopefully there will be goals galore all over the country and I'm starting with an interesting one, Fleetwood v Wycombe.
Fleetwood are flying high in second place in the Blue Square Premier and face a Wycombe outfit second bottom of League One.
If it's about confidence then Fleetwood could well win – they are 13-8 with William Hill and boylesports – but there should certainly be goals.
Fleetwood have netted 16 in nine home games while Wycombe have scored in five of their last six in the league.
Next I'm looking at Chesterfield v Torquay. Fourteen places separate the sides in the pyramid but when you look at their attacks both are firing them in from all angles.
Chesterfield beat Tranmere 4-3 in the Johnstone Trophy in midweek to make it 10 goals in five games. Torquay have 12 in five and recovered from heavy defeats to Gillingham and Southend by winning three in a row without conceding. It will be tougher for them at Chesterfield and both teams can hit the target.
Next I'm on what looks like a cracker on paper, Preston v Southend. League One Preston have conceded 19 in their last six and must fear the worst against Paul Sturrock's League Two leaders.
Southend could spring a shock and it will certainly be a surprise if both teams don't score.
My fourth FA Cup clash features Bury v Crawley. Bury have been better in recent weeks with nine goals in five games including a 2-2 draw with Notts County.
They entertain an exciting Crawley side who are just about living up to their billing as League Two title favourites pre-season. Both teams have scored in Crawley's last five games and this should be a super six.
Finally, complete the fivefold with Livingston v Hamilton from the Scottish First Division. Livi lost 4-3 at Falkirk last week while Hamilton won 3-1 against Queen of the South. Their last two have featured nine goals and it was 1-1 when the sides met earlier in the season.
