WITH the wintry weather of last weekend relenting we should finally have a full card in the Scottish Football League.

And once again our man Joe Wallace has been on the case searching for a winning lower-league treble.

Last weekend Livingston's home clash with Peterhead was postponed robbing us of a decent pay-out.

But at least wins for Dundee and Ayr gave us a winning double.  This weekend we are looking for a better return for our money and kick off in the Irn-Bru Second Division and Livingston's away trip to Forfar.

I keep backing the Almondvale side – and they haven't let me down in recent weeks.

They have won five of their last six matches as they close in on the Second Division title and I reckon they will be too strong for a Forfar side who have won just once in their last four games.

Livi are also looking for revenge after losing to Forfar 1-0 the last time the sides met and I am taking them as the first side in my treble (widely available at 10-11).

We move on to the Third Division and focus on Annan’s home clash with Montrose. The Galabank men have picked up in recent weeks, winning their last three matches.

They are now right in the zone for a play-off place and face a Montrose side who have won just once in their last six matches.

Add in the fact that Harry Cairney’s side are 21 points ahead of Montrose in the Third Division table and it’s easy to see why I am taking them as the second team in my treble. Take Annan at (4-6, widely available).

We stay in the Third Division for our final selection and look in on Stranraer's home clash with Elgin.  The Stair Park men have been inconsistent in recent weeks with two losses in their last four games.

As a result they have lost their place at the top of the table and Keith Knox's men know they can not afford many more slip-ups if they are to win promotion up to the Second Division.

They have defeated Elgin 2-1 in the last two clashes between the sides and I reckon this will be another close call with Stranraer winning in the end. Take them at (8-11, bet365, Betfred and Coral).

Stranraer strikers Armand One and Craig Malcolm are closing in on the club’s scoring record of 27 goals held by current forward Michael Moore.

Both players are worth a shout for first scorer against Elgin and One is 9-2 to bag the opener with McBookie.com while Malcolm is 4-1.
