Another day on the ATP Tour brings us more matches from Belgrade and Metz, and today’s tennis betting tips will feature one match from each of those events. Finding value at this stage of the season is a bit tough as not many big names are playing, but we’re confident we’ve found two sharp wagers for your betting slip this Wednesday.

In our first tip, we’re backing Bu Yunchaokete to win yet another match after a great performance in Metz. In the other one, we’re going to back Christopher O’Connell to also keep his good form going against a solid veteran.
Yunchaokete to defeat De Jong @ 3/6
These odds are not the biggest, for good reason. Yunchaokete seems like the far more likely player to win the match. The conditions are somewhat slower which should suit the Chinese player. Plus, De Jong is a player who is good at times but very streaky, so we’re not sure that he’ll keep the level high enough to actually win the match.
We might see three sets, we might see close sets, but Yunchaokete seems far more likely to actually win the match simply because he is more consistent. He’s got a solid serve and hits it at a high heat.
He’s very solid from the baseline and doesn’t try to do things he’s not good at, unlike De Jong who might try some outrageous stuff. Bottom line, this bet is just a very solid backing of the favourite.
O’Connell to defeat Altmaier @ 4/6
This is another tennis prediction where the odds aren’t the highest but again there is a reason for that. O’Connell has been playing on a really solid level lately, with the Australian finding his stroke a bit indoors.
Altmaier has been pretty solid as well but he’s a bit more vulnerable overall. O’Connell has better weapons we feel like, especially indoors where his serve can do a lot of damage.
This is likely going to be a very close match but with the serve and the baseline prowess, O’Connell might be able to get this done.
Their most recent match was won by Altmaier but it was on clay on a surface which he likes more than O’Connell. Indoors it should be more on O’Connell’s racquet and we like it enough to suggest it.
