The Paris Masters are heading towards the business end of the tournament this Saturday, and we’ve got two excellent tennis tips for you today. For all the best value from the season’s final ATP Masters 1000 event, read on.
Best tennis tips and predictions today
In our first prediction today, we’re expecting a close match between Alexander Zverev and Holger Rune. Our second tip will be similar, with a fascinating clash brewing between Ugo Humbert and Karen Khachanov.
Rune vs Zverev – over 22.5 games @ 5/6
The reason why we’re backing the over here is rather simple. We have two players who have played really well so far at the event and we expect both of them to bring their best tennis. Rune has a lot of motivation to win this event and he’s done it in the past.
Zverev played in the final here so both of them can technically win this matchup. It will come down to who plays best and there isn’t much to really separate them here. That’s why we’re going to go for the neutral play and simply back the over because it seems the most likely bet to hit.
We could easily see three sets here which would be winning for this play. If either of these players wins, it’s very likely going to be something like 7-5, 7-5 which is again winning.
There isn’t much value backing either side to win even though the odds on Rune are juicy. Take the over and enjoy the tennis.
Khachanov vs Humbert – over 22.5 games @ 5/6
The reasoning here is rather simple again. We have two players who have played very well so far at the event. Khachanov has arguably demonstrated a higher level so far, but betting against a French player on their home soil is a big call – just ask Carlos Alcaraz.
It’s also pretty unprofitable because there is a very solid chance that Humbert wins this match. His serve is massive and has been doing work. The Frenchman’s forehand can be crazy at times and he’s actually the player with better weapons.
Khachanov is more consistent and has won this event in the past, so there is clearly something working for him here; might be the escargots, could be the fast indoor conditions. In any case, the over is very likely as both will be hard to break, so take the over and once again enjoy the tennis.
