He has dominated defences in every one of his matches so far, and continually reflects Amorim’s tactical know-how and awareness.
There is also a feeling that he might be inclined to join Amorim in the January transfer window, should Amorim take the Man Utd job as expected.

The club’s recent success has been greatly attributed to Amorim’s flexibility, hard work and burning desire to win, with the club now winning the Primeira Liga title twice under his leadership – they also won it in 2020/21, with just one league defeat all season. Therefore, it is no surprise that the club has started so brightly once again and looks poised to push for consecutive league titles.
