Tennis Prediction and Betting Tips 2024

Today’s best tennis betting tips will feature two very interesting matches from the Stockholm Open. In the first one, we’re going to be backing an over in what seems to be a rather tight matchup between two players who should be able to hold their serve easily.

In the second one, we’re predicting a rising player to upset a favourite, who in our minds is the wrong favourite in this matchup.

Best tennis tips and predictions today

Our first prediction is on the clash between Stan Wawrinka and Brandon Nakashima, who look poised to hold their serves rather comfortably against each other.

We’ll also be backing Jacob Fearnley to beat Tallon Griekspoor because the British player has been rising steadily for a very long time, and the courts play exactly how he likes them.

Wawrinka vs Nakashima – over 22.5 games @ 5/6

This is a matchup between two players who have very strong serves and generally hold serve without too many issues. It’s an indoor court, which will make it even easier to hold.

Nakashima has a powerful first serve and plays very well behind it. He’s also very good on fast courts. Wawrinka can do well on them too, provided he serves well.

He can serve rather poorly at times and hasn’t been as sharp recently, but even so, it should be enough to keep the matchup close. He’s got lots of experience playing indoors, and there won’t be much interfering with his serve.

The line is high, but it’s not impossible to be covered. A 7-5, 7-5 win for either player will be enough, and so far their matches have been rather close. We’ve had two so far, and both finished in three sets.

We don’t need three sets, but rather two close ones, and we think it’s going to happen without too many problems, so take the solid odds that are on offer.

Fearnley to defeat Griekspoor @ 1/1

The British player is the underdog in this one, but we don’t think he should be. He’s been amazing this year, and while most of his tennis came on the Challenger Tour, he’s proven that he can stick with the best.

Playing as well as he did against Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon was notable, and he’s no stranger to indoor courts either. As a native Brit, he grew up on those, and his track record on the surface proves that.

He’s 21-1 this year and 38-4 overall, which is crazy. Griekspoor is a solid indoor player as well with lots of ATP experience, but he can be quite streaky at times. We simply feel that in this matchup, Fearnley will be a bit more stable.

Holding serve will be major for both players, and Fearnley is really good at that. The total games market is not that good an option here because of how close the matchup will likely be, but we like the Brit to keep playing well as he certainly seems unbeatable right now.
