Today’s tennis tips feature two ATP matches from the Asian swing of the ATP calendar. We have some interesting matches as the Tokyo Open and the China Open kick off, so our predictions will be from those events.
With lots of matches on the menu, we scouted the daily schedule to find the best tennis betting tips for Thursday, September 26th.

Our first tip will feature the top seed and favourite for the China Open, Jannik Sinner, taking on Nicolas Jarry. In the second, we’re backing a home player for a major upset against a player who has a reputation for getting upset in the most unexpected moments.
Sinner vs Jarry to be under 20.5 games @ 5/6
The reason why we’re backing Jannik Sinner to finish this off in under 20.5 games is the form of his opponent has been dreadful, to say the least. Nicolas Jarry had a really solid event last year in Beijing, but so did Sinner.
Sinner actually won the event, which should make this return to the Chinese capital rather smooth for him. He hasn’t played in a while, but he’s been so good this year that it shouldn’t be a massive problem.
Jarry was in action last week, and he was pretty poor. He lost to a player who wasn’t even ranked in the top 100. If that player can keep the total under 20 games, so can Sinner. They did play once before, and Jarry was able to win that match, though that was five years ago when Sinner was a shadow of himself.
Sinner is a much better player since then, and we expect him to show that in this match. Expect a swift 2-0 win for the Italian.
Nishioka to beat Auger-Aliassime @ 2/1
Felix Auger-Aliassime has developed a reputation for getting beaten in some very weird situations. This is precisely the type of match he has built a reputation of losing. We have a native player who will be playing on home soil taking on Auger-Aliassime as a favourite.
He’s not the most reliable favourite, often getting beaten by players ranked worse than him. Nishioka is also generally a very solid and tricky player, so it’s not like he’s playing a total scrub. The Japanese player can play tennis well, and after all, he’s beaten him three times already.
They’ve played seven times so far, and while both of the ones this year were won by Auger-Aliassime, both were on clay. Hard courts are the better surface for Nishioka, and two of the wins he had were on that surface.
We’re going to back him here simply because he’s at home and will be motivated. With that in mind, the match is on Auger-Aliassime’s racquet. If he plays at a solid level, he should win. We’re hoping that he won’t, and say it’s worth a punt.
