Tennis Prediction and Betting Tips 2024

The Asian swing of the ATP Tour is heating up today, with both events in Chengdu and Hangzhou heading towards their business ends.

Today, our tennis tips are based on the over markets in two matches that should be fairly closely contested. While the courts play quite differently, we think that the overs are the best markets to back when it comes to those specific matches.

Keep reading to find out our tennis predictions today.

Best tennis tips and predictions today

In our first tip, we’re going to back Marin Cilic and Brandon Nakashima playing a very tight match that will likely go over the total for the games. In the second one, we’re backing the same thing to happen in the matchup between Jungcheng Shang and Yannick Hanfmann.

Cilic vs Nakashima over 20.5 games @ 5/6

This reads as a match that will go to three sets simply because both of these players have played excellent tennis lately. Cilic hasn’t been in the sport for a very long time due to injuries, but upon his return, he showed a great level.

Nakashima has been one of the better players in the world in the past two months, showing really solid performances across the board.

What makes us back this pick is simply the skillsets of both players. Both of them are really good servers and are generally tough to break because they play well behind that serve. The line is not that big, and even a close two set match should be enough to cover this over.

We expect three sets, so if a higher line becomes available, you can back that with confidence. This is more than enough for us as it’s a semi-final, so we expect quite a bit of motivation from both players.

The conditions work for both, and matchups between two solid players rarely don’t yield close matches, so we’re backing that to happen once more here.

Shang vs Hanfmann over 20.5 games @ 5/6

We’re backing the same market to happen here because, once again, we have two players who have played pretty well at the event and generally play pretty well behind their very solid serve.

Shang is the huge favourite in this one, which makes sense as he’s been in fine form and he’s playing on home soil. Hanfmann, though, is no stranger to making things complicated for good players.

He can certainly keep this one close, and that’s what we expect him to do. He’s strong in conditions where it’s a bit faster, such as in Chengdu, and the serve should be enough to get it done.

It could very well end up being a three-set match as well because while Shang is good, he’s not invincible. He’s had some tough matches here in the past, and Hanfmann is certainly good enough to make this a complicated one.

They never played before, so we can’t base this match on anything else, but it should be tight.
