The 10th day of the US Open offers some really interesting matchups, with quarter-final action across the men’s and women’s draws. We’re going to look at some of the action and provide you with the best US Open betting tips today.

The margins are getting smaller and smaller as the best face the best, but we found some good value for you, so keep reading to find out what our predictions are.

Best US Open betting tips for day 10

One of these bets will feature an in-form Jessica Pegula upsetting Iga Swiatek in a really interesting betting angle, which you can read below. The other will be a rather daring prediction in the Jannik Sinner vs Daniil Medvedev match, which might surprise a lot of people, but there is a reason behind it.

Pegula to defeat Swiatek @ 3/1

This is one of those bets you have to talk yourself into a bit because you’re playing against a historically good player. Swiatek is an all-time great player. We already know that, and she’s only going to increase her legendary status in the coming years.

That being said, the Polish player has failed in the last two big matches she played. She failed at the Paris Olympics and Cincinnati, and we haven’t loved what we’ve seen from her in New York. A player with Pegula’s profile can push her around.

The American is one of the cleanest hitters on Tour, and she has been crushing the ball in the past few weeks. She’s also the best-performing player behind Sabalenka in the past 15 days or so.

Pegula is playing at home and looks rather unbothered in most of her matches, so if there was ever going to be a time she upsets Swiatek, it’s now. She’s beaten her three times in the past, so it can happen.

The price you get for betting on her to win the match is just tremendous value. It’s the right side to back.

Medvedev vs Sinner under 3.5 sets @ 7/5

This might be an unpopular opinion, but this match is very likely to be short. Most of their matches haven’t been short and often feature more sets, so why the under?

Simple because Jannik Sinner tweaked his hip in the most recent match he played. He’s been dealing with a hip injury since Roland Garros, and it’s been somewhat limiting at times.

He tweaked it against Paul and grabbed it a few times during the final sets. Almost instantly after that, you could see a shift in the way he played. He kept the rallies short and was hyper-aggressive.

This means the matchup against Medvedev can go two ways: either he smashes him or crashes out with hundreds of errors. It’s unlikely to be a long match because Sinner won’t want that.

We won’t back either Sinner or Medvedev to win because it’s a pretty volatile matchup that could go either way. However, we’re backing one of them to do so in three sets because it just feels like one of those matches.

There are some rumblings about how the match will be played, and the under seems like the most logical outcome in such circumstances.

So those are our top picks for day 10 of the US Open. They’re risky, but there is reasoning behind them.
