Euro 2024 Bet of the Day: Back both to oblige in Düsseldorf

Albania go up against Spain in Euro 2024 Group B on Monday night, and Jamie Kennedy is backing both teams to get on the scoresheet.

Albania will almost certainly have to defeat Spain at the Düsseldorf Arena on Monday night if they are to secure a spot in the last-16 of Euro 2024.

After losing narrowly to Italy in their opening Group B assignment, Sylvinho’s side showed great grit and determination to rescue a point in their 2-2 draw with Croatia.

Meanwhile, two-time European champions Spain have already sewn up top spot in Group B and have little other than pride left to play for on Monday night.

That will give Albania plenty of reason to believe they can pull off a shock and reach the knockout round for the first time in their history. 

Considering the lay of the land in Group B, backing both teams to score looks like the most sensible option to take at 10/11 with Betfred.

Albania are clearly capable when it comes to scoring goals and have proven in their displays against both Italy and Croatia that they should not be underestimated.

Sylvinho’s side scored in both of those matches and they will most likely go for the jugular against Spain on Monday night knowing that a win could secure qualification.

Spain's second-string will also be out to impress and that could lead to an entertaining encounter with goals arriving at both ends.

Albania have scored in 11 of their last 14 matches and they could put that habit to good use against a Spain side that failed to keep a clean sheet against Georgia both home and away in Euro 2024 qualifiers.

The fact both teams have scored in three of Albania’s last four matches when discounting friendly fixtures only adds weight to a bet on BTTS delivering profit in Düsseldorf.
