Stamford Bridge has seldom been a happy hunting ground for Newcastle but they might just fancy their chances of getting something against Chelsea tonight.

In the Premier League era the Magpies have won just once in 28 visits (D7 L20) and away form so far this season shouldn’t fill them with much hope of making a dent in that stat this evening.

Only Sheffield United have conceded more goals on the road than Newcastle and their 11 points is the lowest of all teams in the top half of the table. Their three wins have come against Notting Forest (17th), Sheffield United (20th) and a shell-shocked Aston Villa.

However! Two of those three wins came in Newcastle’s last three away, before a 4-1 loss at the-of-the-table Arsenal so they’ll feel a bit more confident outside of the North East.

Chelsea have been better of late but they’ve needed late goals to pick up a point at Brentford (83 mins) and to win against Leeds (90) and Crystal Palace (91 & 94).

Defenders Ben Chilwell and Levi Colwill will be missing for the Blues but Conor Gallagher could be the biggest loss if he fails to shrug off an illness.

The Blues have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last eight so the Magpies should be good for a goal. They may need to score two to win, which is a 6/5 chance.

Alternatively if you share our confidence in Eddie Howe’s men then consider the 5/6 on them in the Double Chance market.

Championship side Morton and Hearts will be bidding to join Aberdeen, Celtic and Rangers in tonight’s Scottish Cup semi-final draw.

Ton were one of the form teams in Scotland a few weeks ago but they’ve won just one of their last five and failed to score in four of those so although Hearts are in for a tricky night they should prevail and at 7/10 aren’t the worst price.

Add in two or more goals for the Jambos for an 11/10 BetBuilder.

    Chelsea v Newcastle
    Newcastle to win at 11/4

    Rangers v Benfica
    Rangers to win at 7/4

Single on Newcastle also having a double on the above. Rubbish odds on goals in the Newcastle game given Chelsea never take their chances.

How he only committed one foul in the first half, I’ll never know! Blatant booking on livramento and not even a free kick! ?? kicked at least 4 players! Don’t wanna write it off yet but I reckon unless he uses a weapon, he ain’t getting booked ?
