ENGLISH football arguably stages its game of the season on Sunday – it doesn't come any bigger than Liverpool v Manchester City at Anfield.
The hosts currently lead the way at the top of the table by one point, with Arsenal a point further back and although nothing will be decided this weekend, a win for either side would be absolutely enormous.
European and English champions City have given plenty of hope and opportunity for their challengers this season especially when they went an unprecedented four games without a win in the league at the end of November.
But ultimately, it doesn't seem to have done them too much harm and with big-hitters Erling Haaland and Kevin de Bruyne at the top of their game, they are absolutely motoring.
Their midweek Champions League cruise against Copenhagen made it 16 wins and a draw in 17 games – ominous form.
Liverpool would love nothing more than to hand departing manager Jiurhen Klopp another title as a farewell present, but unlike City, they have injury problems.
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson, Diogo Jota, Curtis Jones and Thiago, but it didn't do them any harm in the Czech Republic in midweek when they slaughtered Sparta Prague 5-1 in the Europa League.
How the bookies view it
Manchester City are firm favourites despite Anfield advantage for the hosts and are 5/4 with Coral.
Liverpool are 19/10 with William Hill and the draw is 29/10 with UniBet.
Recent head to heads
The sides shared a point apiece at the Etihad back in November in a 1-1 draw.
Last season, there were a home win apiece, with City's 4-1 home win being a significant statement of intent.
Players to watch
Mo Salah's season has been disrupted by injuries and international duty, but the Egyptian genius should be fit enough to play here after coming on as a midweek sub and could have a huge role to play. He is 17/10 to score anytime with Paddy Power.
It's not often these days you can get Erling Haaland odds-against to score, but he is 11/10 to net at Anfield with bet365. He is on fire at the moment with eight goals in his last four games, including that five-goal haul at Luton Town in the FA Cup.
Anything else catch the eye?
Manchester City are approaching peak form at the business end of the season and you have to fancy them to be too strong for a Liverpool side who have key absentees when it matters the most.
The champions' relentless attacking eventually wore down Manchester United last week and while Liverpool are clearly a different beast, the hosts have the attacking creativity and nous to win this.
And with Liverpool being urged to attack by a fanatical support, it could well play into City's hands too.
Haaland missed that sitter against United last week, but he's back to full-on goal machine mode and it has to be worth a punt backing him to score at odds-against too.
