FALKIRK are now in their fifth miserable season in the third tier of Scottish football, but a win today against nearest challengers Hamilton Accies will surely see them effectively seal promotion.
The League One clash of the day sees the Bairns put their unbeaten league record on the line when Accies visit.
John McGlynn's side are eight points ahead with a game in hand Falkirk have been almost perfect this season – they've only drawn five games and at home they are even stronger having won ten out of 11 with one draw.
Hamilton will have to go for this, but they are not in vintage form themselves having recently been held at home by Montrose before a shock home loss to Annan Athletic last week.
Falkirk may well go off shorter, but the 17/20 on offer for them now looks perfectly acceptable.
DUNDEE can heap on the misery to relegation-threatened Ross County with a win at 5/6.
Tony Docherty's side have enjoyed a stunning return to the top flight in his first job as a manager in his own right after years of being Derek McInnes' No.2.
In fact, there's every chance he will join his old Aberdeen boss, now at Kilmarnock, in the top six this season.
They have goals in the team and a really decent squad this season. And they've been getting backed for this game all week.
County have now sacked two managers after Malky Mackay and the disastrous Derek Adams' return. Don Cowie is in temporary charge now.
They were in midweek action at Ibrox and although weren't disgraced, it must have taken a lot out of them in what was a one-sided defeat with Rangers managing 43 shots, 23 of them on target.
Dundee should be a solid shout today.
ALLOA have been in fine form and can claim another win today against Cove Rangers in League One.
The Wasps have defeated Annan Athletic home and away and have also beaten Stirling Albion at home and they welcome the Aberdeen side to the Indodrill Stadium.
The hosts lost at Motherwell in the Scottish Cup and were hammered at Falkirk, but both results could be excused.
But they face a Cove side who are hugely out of form – they haven't won in the league since before Christmas and that was against cannon fodder Edinburgh City.
In fact, their only win in that time came in the Scottish Cup when Highland League Brora Rangers took them to extra time.
And Andy Graham's side can continue their winning ways at 6/4.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
FALKIRK 17/20
DUNDEE 5/6
ALLOA ATHLETIC 6/4.
