The weekend proved that there’s still some magic left in the FA Cup and tonight Wrexham will be out to add another chapter to their giant-killing history at Blackburn.

7,000 fans will be making the trip north to Ewood Park in search of a win that would set up a home tie with Newcastle United in the next round.

There might be two divisions separating the sides but the Red Dragons are chasing promotion in League two where they’re currently second in the table so will travel with some confidence.

Rovers on the other hand have been slipping down the Championship table. They’re winless in seven in the league and the only recent victory was a 5-2 win over League One side Cambridge United in the previous round.

Blackburn are 8/11 to dispose of the Welshmen and if truth be told they should have the quality to do so but Phil Parkinson’s side could give them a bloody nose.

In a weekend where we’ve seen Norwich score two at Anfield, Newport put two past Manchester United and Maidstone stun Ipswich 2-1, backing Wrexham to get on the scoresheet as part of Bet Builder could pay.

Blackburn not to lose coupled with BTTS pays 4/5. Add in more than two corners for the visitors (they average a league high of 6.46 away from home in League Two) takes us to 6/5.

At the African Cup of Nations two of the main protagonists, Senegal and Ivory Coast, meet in the knock-out stages.

The Senegalese breezed through their group with three wins, the only side to do so, scoring eight goals via seven different scorers.

The hosts meanwhile, sacked manager Jean-Louis Gasset on Wednesday following two defeats in the group stage before they sneaked through to the last 16 as one of the best third placed teams.

Their 4-0 defeat to Equatorial Guinea was one of the biggest upsets in the competition’s history and they surely can’t be that bad again. But whether they’re capably of moving up several gears to overcome Senegal looks unlikely.

Senegal at 13/10 looks an obvious choice in tonight’s clash.

    Roma to win 4/6.

This is a banker, remember the only thing that can go wrong is if the manager asks his father to go to the shop for him after he hears him cough and when he gets his shopping he looks through his neighbours window and sees Norwich scoring a goal…hehe its written in the stars you know. We’re back in business.

Get on it like a car bonnet.
