Inter Milan travel to the Stadio Olimpico for a Serie A fixture on Sunday as they look to straighten their lead at the top of the standings. This fixture usually has goals and with both teams looking sharp in attack at the moment, another high scoring encounter could be on the cards.

One ray of hope for Lazio in their midst of their struggles is their record at the Stadio Olimpico which has tasted just one defeat all season. Maurizio Sarri’s men have won four of their last five home matches with a 3-2 victory over Atalanta among their results in that run.
Inter Milan were rampant in their previous Serie A fixture as they ran out 4-0 winners over Udinese with Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez among the goals. However, they followed that up with a 0-0 draw at Sociedad in the Champions League in midweek.
Now that the Champions League is on hiatus until February, Inter Milan can focus on domestic matters and possibly strengthen their grip at the summit of the standings. Simone Inzaghi’s men are two points clear of Juventus and unbeaten in their last nine Serie A matches, claiming seven wins in that run.
Inter Milan have also been solid on their travels this season and are yet to taste defeat away from home so far in Serie A. They have won seven of their last eight away matches in Serie A and picked up a 3-0 victory at champions Napoli in their previous fixture on the road.

Inter Milan’s campaign has been driven by the dual attacking threat of Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram, who have 14 and six Serie A goals respectively.
