ARSENAL entertain PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands in the final game in the group stages of the Champions League, after a miserable weekend for them.
And both sides can play with the pressure well and truly off because this is a dead rubber encounter. The Gunners qualified emphatically with a game to spare after trouncing Lens in the last match.
And although PSV are only three points ahead of Lens, they have the better head-to-head record so have also already qualified and can't catch Arsenal at the top.
Domestically, Arsenal were flying and must realistically have the title in their sights after Manchester City's recent troubles. However, they suffered a huge blow at the weekend when they became the latest side to lose at Aston Villa. It was a poor performance where they didn't do nearly enough.
All of Arsenal's four defeats this season have come away from the Emirates.
PSV's game was brought forward to Thursday, although in the end it will matter for little. They comfortably beat Heerenveen to make it an impressive eight wins in a row in all competitions.
Their 3-2 win in Sevilla showed what they can do though and they will want to go out with a bang against the Gunners.
How the bookies view it
PSV are perhaps surprisingly narrow favourites here with home advantage being cited as a big advantage. They are 6/4 with bet365.
Arsenal will have their backers at 7/4 with 888sport. The draw is 14/5 with Paddy Power.
Recent head to heads
Arsenal annihilated PSV when they met in London in a 4-0 walloping. However, PSV are unbeaten on the last three occasions Arsenal have visited Eindhoven.
Players to watch
Former Rangers loan star Malik Tillman has been in excellent form for PSV recently and knows where the goal is. The American international is 17/5 to score anytime with Unibet.
Arsenal could rest some of their big guns here and Eddie Nketiah should merit a start having being a sub a lot recently. He is 13/5 to score anytime with Paddy Power.
Anything else catch the eye?
Arsenal have a massive game this weekend at home to Brighton and Mikel Arteta is sure to prioritise that. PSV are in fine form and with nothing at stake, it could be worth backing the hosts here to win a bit of pride, especially with question marks over Arsenal's away form.
The Gunners are likely to play a much-changed side – the last time they did that, they lost to West Ham in the League Cup.
But with the pressure off, there should be plenty of goals here. Try both teams to score and over 2.5 goals at 17/20 with William Hill which looks a solid shout.
