Fans might’ve wondered where Spurs’ goals goals were going to come from following the departure of Harry Kane but they shouldn’t be in short supply with Ange Postecoglou ’s attacking brand of football.
Tottenham make the trip south to Bournemouth this lunchtime in search of three points that will take them top of the league – for a short period at least.
Postecoglou is already making his mark in the Premier League. Last week’s 2-0 win over Manchester United was a good marker but if he’s to guide his side to a Champions League place he needs to win matches like today’s.
The Cherries were overpowered at Anfield last week and look destined to be in and around the relegation scrap. It should be an entertaining game at the Vitality Stadium where Over 2.5 Goals is just 1/2. Two or more goals for the visitors appeals at 4/6. Combining both pays 4/5.
Sean Dyche looks like he’s going to have his work cut out to keep Everton up this season. Bottom of the table after two defeats and zero goals scored is not the start he was looking for.
Opponents Wolves have had a similarly slow start but they’ve won their last two visits to Goodison and at 11/5 look one for the long shot accas.
In the Championship, Leicester (4/7) should continue their perfect start to the season with another win at struggling Rotherham.
Likewise, Southampton (4/11) should have enough in their locker to see off QPR who were beaten by newly-promoted Ipswich last time out.
Wigan would be top of League One were it not for a points deduction. As it is they’re in 19th place despite winning three and drawing the other of their opening four games.
The 13/10 on a win over Barnsley makes plenty of appeal. The Tykes started the season with a thumping 7-0 win over Port Vale but have failed to win since, losing their two matches at home by three goals to one and exiting the EFL Cup to League Two Tranmere.
Can’t help think that if the Latics hadn’t been penalised they’d be a shorter price to win today.
Rangers face a lunchtime trip to the highlands but Michael Beale could have one eye on their return leg with PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday. That match is worth millions to the club so should rightly be their priority but they can’t afford to fall further behind Celtic, especially ahead of the big Glasgow Derby next weekend.
However, Ross County won’t make life easy for them. The Staggies impressed in a 4-2 defeat at Celtic Park on the opening day of the season, picked up their first win against St Johnstone and booked a place in the last eight of the League Cup last week so Malky Mackay’s side are in decent shape.
County are as big as 9/1 with BetVictor. They’ve never beaten Rangers but might not get a better chance.
Celtic are incredibly short at 1/20. Despite their injury concerns they’ll be wounded after last week’s timid exit from the League Cup and that could make for a long afternoon for the St Johnstone.
Best bet could be to back the Hoops to fly out the traps and bag a couple of goals in the first half at 21/20.
In the Championship Dundee Utd can pick up another three points at Somerset Park. Opponents Ayr have a few injury concerns which has seen the Terrors backed in to 5/4 from almost 2/1 earlier in the week.
Morton will also find their way on to plenty of accas this weekend. Dougie Imrie’s side gave a good account of themselves at Ibrox last week and are more than capable of beating bottom side Arbroath at 8/11
Queen of the South could be worth a small interest at Cove Rangers today. Marvin Bartley's might might be unable to keep a clean sheet but they know where the back of the net is at the other end. The Doonhamers were 3/1 earlier in the week but now around the 2/1 mark and still backable.
Hamilton (4/7) have started the season well on and off the park. They’ll be desperate to bounce straight back in to the Championship and have begun with three wins from three. Back them to make it four from four against Montrose.
Stranraer can take advantage of Clyde’s current troubles. Jim Duffy left the club during the week and they’ve struggled to fill their bench of late. They’re winless so far in League Two and it’s never easy going to Stair Park.

Bet for September ( well almost)
MK Dons v Doncaster
Mo Eisa Anytime scorer 11/8 80% of stake
Mo Eisa First goalscorer 4/1 19 % of stake
Mo Eisa 3 or more goals 28/1 1% of stake
Mo Eisa has started the season in excellent form. He has scored 4 in 4 games this season and on 3 of those occasions he scored the 1st goal. Every chance he finds the back of the net today he is without doubt one of the best goalscorers in the league. Surprised another league 1 club hasn’t come in for him. Think 11/8 is really big for anytime against a struggling Doncaster side who have conced 9 goals in their last 3 games. Happy to have a decent percentage on first goal also.
Just can’t see him not scoring today and happy to take the chance at 11/8 and 4/1 and even a small bet on 3 or more at 28/1.
I like Salford to draw today with Accrington Stanley. A shade under 3/1 looks worth a punt. Well known they struggle at home on the small pitch and bad surface. Only 10 wins at home last season being the reason they missed out on automatic. Drew with Crawley in the league here earlier in the month. Haven’t won in their last 3 games at home.
Next bet pencilled in for the 14 th October so see you all back then good luck with whatever everyone is on today.
Thanks Dean 👍🏻
Is this a real account
Ofcourse it’s not it’s the same guy that was putting up these shite bet of the month bets a couple of weeks ago.

2/5 winners yesterday in the tennis after poor performances from Shang & Duckworth.
Still just over +2 units up on the week but the last couple of days have been frustrating to say the least.
May not have any tennis plays now until the US Open main draw starts on Monday.
Well done all winners
3/6 in the footy selections last night and break even. 1 more shot from Gallagher and it would have been a good night.
Interesting odds on St Johnstone total corners.
Whilst they’ve been poor this season, St Johnstone have had 7 corners v Ross County and 6 v Hearts in their opening league games.
Celtic conceded 8 corners to Ross C in last league home game. Then 9 against Aberdeen. Kilmarnock in the cup even managed 4.
Celtic seem a bit unsettled at back. A bit speculative, but stats do back up and match seems priced on last season.
St Johnstone Over 2.5 corners at 2.25
St Johnstone Over 4.5 corners at 7.5
Good spot sir, but I think this could be backs to the wall for Saints today.

Ross County to score & take 5+ corners
Had a wee tickle on Ross county 2+ goals at 11/4, scored 2+ in every competitive match this season.
Expect a few bookings in the lunchtime kickoff, most of them going to Ross County. With that in mind I’ve found a cracking value bet in the players to be carded market –
Ross Laidlaw (the County keeper) to get booked – 12/1 (with b365).
Thats much bigger than elsewhere and has a chance depending on how the game goes. Refs have need instructed to crack down more on things like time wasting and Laidlaw has previous for that. Todays referee (Munro) has also booked Laidlaw a couple of times previously so I think 12/1 is a cracking price. Certainly worth a wee fiver.
Agree with your bookings Baldy

Had 5 tackles in the opening game and 3 last week. Will be close to this number again.
Spurs Over 18.5 tackles @ 2.20 Boylesports
West Hame had 30 tackles when facing Bournemouth & with how high Spurs play up the pitch now I expect them to get over 20 in this match.
Best of luck all

My plays from the 3pm games:
L Trossard over 2.5 shots @ 2.0 Unibet (NAP)
E Eze 3+ shots @ 2.25 Skybet
E Eze 4+ shots @ 4.00 Skybet
Y Wissa over 2 shots @ 2.6 William Hill
Trossard looks to be playing up front today so I like his chances to have 3 or more shots. Eze has been brilliant for Palace and like him to continue his form this season of having 3/4 attempts. Wissa has been excellent since the back end of last season following the Toney suspension I the William Hill price I took last night along with the Eze selections just looks far too big.
Best of lucka ll

Tonight’s boxing – Oleksandr Usyk defends his world heavyweight titles against Brit Daniel Dubois.
When the fight was announced, my initial thought was that it’ll be Usyk on points. And my opinion hasn’t changed! He’s 11/4 to win on points.
Alternatively, the fight is 5/2 to go the distance.
I can’t see Usyk stopping Dubois, and I can’t see Dubois being savvy enough to stop Usyk.
Unless a freak injury (like in Dubois’ last fight) happens, then in all liklihood, this one will go the distance.
GL all 🤞
Is Usyk on points the same as by decision or technical decision?
Yep. Win be decision is going the 12rounds
Well that is how rigged boxing is!
