Lee Carsley’s England squad have built up some momentum going in to the knock-out stages of the U21 European Championships thanks to three group stage wins without conceding a goal.
The Young Lions, who were only beaten once in qualifying, topped Group C with three 2-0 wins over Czech Republic, Israel and Germany to set-up tonights quarter-final clash with Portugal.
The Portuguese needed an 89th minute penalty in their final game against Belgium to book their place in the last eight after picking up just one point from their previous two matches.
But it’s an experienced Portugal squad, with players plying their trade across Europe so Carsley’s men could be up against their toughest test at the tournament so far.
SBK make them 20/21 to win inside the 90 minutes and 4/9 to qualify. Portugal are 3/1 inside the 90 and 13/8 to progress.
It’s hard to back against England after an impressive group stage and with Portugal being less convincing in their games so far.
In the other quarter-final France are 13/20 to beat Ukraine. The French turned in an impressive performance in their 4-1 win over Switzerland to make it three wins from three and should set-up a semi-final with Spain on Wednesday.

If its definite or just checking because it could just be a polyp. Do you mean ct scan all they do will put a needle with a dye in it tbh it feels like you want to have a piss but apart from that it’s OK.
As other people have already said your in the best hands with the NHS.
Anything you need to know that concerns you & I know you will be scared but that’s OK as we all go through this it never goes away tbh.
Thanks Hackett. Yeah the diagnosis followed the camera, but the scans are to see if it has spread through the colon wall. I’m quite a bit of sporadic pain, but I suppose that’s to be expected. Just want the scans done and the info about where I am. I’d rather bad news than no news tbh 😂

Now it’s a bit more clearer tbh this is what I think you will have an op you will have to wear a bag it’s not as bad as you will think advice is make sure you shave the area every 2 days otherwise you will have leaks it’s on for 12 months to give your bowel time to heal the rumour is you can’t drink fizzy stuff you ant eat mushrooms because of blockage but you can I followed all this advice & tbh I then reverted back to what I usually done i/e drank pop alcohol ate my Chinese indian kebabs just lived life as normal tbh saved a few quid on toilet roll pmsl but I did miss it but the best news is that was 4 years ago & I’ve had both radiation & chemo & it’s still ongoing to look at me everyone has said you wouldn’t know plus I’ve got the bag off so try to relax enjoy your life I know your thinking it’s easy for you mate but follow there advice within reason.
Tbh honest I don’t want to discuss this on a public forum if you ask admin for my details I’m willing to talk further to help you.

Thanks Hackett, it’s great to hear from someone who has been through this and come out the other side. I’m trying to continue as normal and I’ve been told if it is localised, there is a good outlook normally. The problem obviously is it has taken time to know it was there, and I won’t know until the next week or so if it’s gone elsewhere, but I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it. Appreciate you taking the time to send me that reply and that detail, really decent if you buddy.
