MANCHESTER CITY absolutely blew Arsenal away in what was supposed to be a title showdown and they can finally reach the top of the league with a win at Fulham on Sunday.
Pep Guardiola's men are now just two points behind the Gunners but of course, have two games in hand and the first of them is in London against very favorable opponents for City.
It wasn't just the 4-1 win – which flattered Arsenal really – it was the sheer gulf in class with City barely coming out of second gear for chunks of the game and missing plenty of chances too.
They look unstoppable at the moment and a trip to the banks of the Thames shouldn't hold too many fears for them.
Fulham are of course without suspended striker and talisman Aleksandar Mitrovic, who is in the middle of an eight-game ban and that hardly helps them.
They became Aston Villa's latest victims this week and they snapped out of a five-game losing streak with two wins against Everton and Leeds United before their loss in Birmingham. They remain in the hunt for a European spot.
However, they must find a way to stop a City team who are purring right now.

Manchester City are overwhelming favourites as you would expect and are odds-on everywhere. They can be backed at 1/4 with pretty much every firm.
Fulham are available at 11/1 again with almost all firms having the same price. The draw is 5/1 with Paddy Power.
Recent head to heads
City required an injury time penalty from Erling Haaland to see off Fulham when the sides met at the Etihad in November to clinch a 2-1 win.
However, that was City's 13th win in a row in this fixture and Fulham haven't beaten Manchester City at Craven Cottage for 18 years.
Players to watch
Daniel James is one of those charged with replacing Mitrovic and he did score against Everton in a 3-1 win this month. The on loan Leeds United forward is 21/2 to score anytime with UniBet.
Kevin De Bruyne was far too hot for Arsenal to handle in midweek and he put the seal on a fine performance with two goals. The Belgian is attractively priced at 7/2 to score again anytime with William Hill.
Anything else catch the eye?
Impossible to look at anything other than a City win with the way they are playing and it's a case of how to make it worthwhile.
They are creating chances by the bucketful at the moment and when in the mood, look like they can score for fun.
