Arsenal might be the London club taking all the headlines this season but Brentford and Fulham deserve plenty of plaudits as they both push for a European place.
Thomas Frank's Brentford are unbeaten in 11 Premier League games, the longest run in the top flight at present and have only been beaten once at home – that to league leaders Arsenal.
A win tonight takes them to within a point of visitors Fulham with a game in hand.
It’s easy to forget that Fulham were only promoted in the summer and they’re on track to earn the most points of any promoted side in the Premier League.
The Cottager’s form has been pretty decent too. They’ve progressed to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup amid a seven game unbeaten run.
The form that both sides are in it’s difficult to see either getting beat so a share of the spoils at 13/5 could be the best option from a betting perspective.
In a similar vein both teams are more than capable of getting on the scoresheet at 3/4.
Two of the leagues leading marksmen will be on show in the shape of Ivan Toney (14 goals) and Aleksander Mitrovic (11 goals) and in the Fulham ranks is Manor Solomon who has scored in his last three Premier League games as a substitute. The Israeli is 11/2 to make it four in a row.

Brentford have a full squad available for tonight’s game whilst Fulham will be without their influential player Joao Palhihna who serves a two match ban for picking up his 10th yellow card of the season. Brentford at home are strong and given Fulham will be lighter in midfield i’m taking Brentford to edge this match. Fulham will create chances and with Mitrovic on the pitch there’s every chance they will score and with that in mind i believe that we will see this game going over 2.5 goals also. It should also be worth looking at the player cards markets as i think we will see a heated game so a Red Card wouldn’t surprise either and with the referees making plenty of mistakes in this weekends round of Prem Fixtures by not sending off players they could well scrutinise rash tackles tonight.
