Lionel Messi delivered when his country needed it most last night and Argentina live to fight another day in Qatar.
The PSG star bailed his nation out after an underwhelming display against Mexico and now just Poland stand between them and a place in the last-16.

There are few more dangerous teams in world football than a German side who have been backed in to a corner and we can fully expect to see a response from Hansi Flick's side, even if this isn't a vintage Germany squad.
By the time this match kicks-off Germany will know whether a draw would be good enough for them. If Japan beat Costa Rica in the morning kick-off then nothing but a win will do for the Germans. At that point the 2/1 on Die Mannschaft could be well worth considering. With Japan still to come for the Spanish they could be happy with a draw.

Things are very tight in Group F where just one goal was scored in the first two games. It's Belgium who hold the advantage at the top of the table following a win over a well-drilled Canada side and Morocco could prove just as tricky to break down for Roberto Martinez's side.
The north Africans held Croatia to a 0-0 draw and if Belgium aren't on their A-game they could come unstuck against a Moroccan side that haven't condeded in their last five outings and have only lost two of their past 40 games across three years.
Both Croatia and Canada need a win to kick-start their campaigns. The 2018 runners-up toiled in their opener and need to be more clinical if they're to go as deep in to the tournament as four years ago. It's a similar story for the Canadians who impressed against Belgium but were wasteful in front of goal.
Like most games at this edition of the World Cup we could see a slow start and no goals before 32:00 appeals again at 5/6.
