Tuesday Football Tips: Goals Expected in Glasgow

A handful of teams can book their place in the last 16 of the Champions League tonight with a couple of games to spare.

Both Real Madrid and Man City have made the perfect start to their Euro campaigns with three wins from three but it won't make you rich by backing them tonight. The away-win double pays just over 1/2 at Bet365 but both managers may look to make some changes.

It's almost impossible not to mention Erling Haaland when discussing Manchester City at the moment. The Norwegian took his Champions League goals tally to 28 in 22 appearances last week before Pep Guardiola hauled him off at half-time. He's just 2/5 to find the net in Copenhagen tonight and a mere 5/1 to hit yet another hat-trick. You'd expect Guardiola to play him but there's the obvious risk that he'll be substituted again so it's perhaps best left alone.

In the same group, Borussia Dortmund can also claim qualification tonight with a win over Sevilla (and if City win). A 4-1 defeat to the Germans was the final straw for the Sevilla board who fired Julen Lopetegui in the aftermath, replacing him with former manager Jorge Sampaoli.

A 1-1 draw against Athletic Bilbao was a steady start but it's now just one win in 11 between La Liga and Champions League matches for the Andalusians.

At Celtic Park the Hoops could be up against it despite a 60,000 crowd roaring them on. Injury to captain Callum McGregor has robbed them of this services for the foreseeable and the talented Jota looks a doubt. Their form hasn't been great in recent weeks as Ange Postecoglou has juggled with his squad and RB Leipzig looked really dangerous in their 3-1 win over the Bhoys last midweek.

Either PSG or Benfica could qualify with a win in Paris. They shared a draw last week in Lisbon and it could be another close affair tonight. Both sides top their respective domestic tables with similar records and remain unbeaten in the season to date so something could give at Le Parc des Princes.

PSG have yet to set the heather alight this season and haven't been convincing enough to be backing on a single at 1/2 especially as Messi misses out due to injury. That leaves the stage vacant for Mbappe or Neymar to grab the limelight. The former looks more likely to get on the scoresheet at 11/10.
