The qualification stage for the Champions League continues tonight with another seven ties being played across Europe.

Maribor at 11/10 catch the eye at home to Shakhtyor Soligorsk. The visiting Belarusian champions are 12 games in to their season and sit 6th in the table having won half of their matches so far. They lost out at this stage to Ludogorets last year before failing to reach the Europa League group stages when defeated by Fola Esch of Luxembourg.

Maribor's season has yet to begin but they've a decent recent record in Europe and competed in the Champions League group stages just five seasons ago. Since then they've only actually lost six of 19 European matches, despite failing to make much of an impact with Rangers, Rosenborg, Hammarby and Coleriane (on pens) responsible for knocking them out of their respective competitions.

Their record at home in European football is pretty formidable. They've lost just four times in 27 matches in Slovenia (to Rosenborg, Hammarby, Schalke and Liverpool), dating back to 2013. The likes of Sevilla, Celtic, Rangers, Sporting and Chelsea have all failed to win at Ljudski vrt so there's a strong case for a home win this evening (kick-off 7.15).

Bodo/Glimt should have a comfortable evening against Icelandic side Klaksvikar. They shone in Europe last season and will be keen to make their mark again despite a disappointing start to their Eliteserein campaign. They're just 1/8 to win the first leg but look worth a punt to win both halves at 1/1 with SBK.

Finally, spare a thought for punters in Sierra Leone who were on Under 94.5 Goals in the match between Kahunla Rangers and Lumbebu United. The game finished 95-0 and if that was unbelievable enough their rivals Gulf FC thrashed Koquima Lebanon 91-1 to trigger an investigation into match fixing. Unbelievably the half-time scores were 2-0 and 7-1 respectively meaning there was a goal scored every 30 seconds or so. Harry Kane is rumoured to be eyeing a move!

Super Single

  • Maribor to win 11/10 SBK

@hull looks like the nb came in at the death as well, 96th and 97th minute goals in the HK game! Wondered where the extra came from in my account this morning after giving up in the 94th minute haha! Well done 👏

They only things I know about women’s football are:

      – it’s heavily over-promoted
      – it’s generally tedious to watch
      – elite women’s teams are regularly beaten by U15 boys teams
      – it’s worlds apart from watching the Swedish women’s volleyball team

but, I’m sure some people do find it highly entertaining 😉

    Hello
I just want to say so facts about youre pick….Maribor. I m a Slovenian and Nk Maribor is my favourite team at home (internationaly i m a Liverpool fan😉). So about Maribor. From last year they have some new players. First goalscorer from last year (Mudrinski) has left and also the best player for last 10 year finnished playing (Tavares). So there are some new young players in sguad. Last year they played some good games and some really bad. It all depends on momental inspiration.
I dont want to say it is imposible Maribor to win (and i would really like to see that as a fan) but from betting angle…..i will not put a penny on my team.
    Good betting all!

    Vikingur vs Europa

Vikingur to score 2+ @ 4/5 (skybet) Nap

    Small stake
    Vikingur to score 3+ @ 5/2 (skybet)

To score 2+ is in to 8/11 at skybet and generally 4/6 elsewhere but wouldn’t put anyone off sticking it in an acca etc. Was tempted to have a dabble on Klaksvik to score when they were 2/1 a few days ago but not so much at 11/8. Il be a lot more interested in the return leg where I reckon they could nick one at decent prices.

    Good luck today 🤞

    Evening gents,

Bit of a bonus for anyone on the Nb last night – as Mark pointed out, 2 goals on 96 and 97 brought it in at 4/1 to join the Nap ⚽️🙃⚽️

Onto tonight and it would be incredibly rude to ignore the Icelandic 4 Deild games – there’s a fair few to go at (all 9.00pm) but one stands out which forms the Nap…I’ll roll a few up for the Nb and Longshot:

    KM VS. ÁRBORG (9.00pm)

    OVER 5.5 MATCH GOALS
    (1/1, bet365) NAP ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    KM VS. ÁRBORG (9.00pm)
    ALAFOSS VS. KFR (9.00pm)

    OVER 5.5 MATCH GOALS DOUBLE
    (4/1, bet365) NB ⭐️⭐️

    KM VS. ÁRBORG (9.00pm)
    ALAFOSS VS. KFR (9.00pm)
    FC ARBAER VS. SKALLAGRIMUR (9.00pm)

    OVER 5.5 MATCH GOALS TREBLE
    (12/1, bet365) LONGSHOT ⭐️

Best of luck with all bets!

    AFCON WOMEN 🇹🇬

    Togo (Women) v Cameroon (Women)
    06 Jul 21:00

    Togo to score 13-10 🇹🇬 NAP 🇹🇬.(HILLS…

Cameroon ranked 2 in Africa, but only 54 in the world so no world beaters.

Togo ranked 16 in Africa and 118 in the world.

In game 1 world 118 Togo netted v world 72 Tunisia.

    The Last 2 nights seen
World 156 Uganda score v world 77 Morocco.
World 169 Burundi score v world 150 Botswana.

In their qualification final to reach this tournament Cameroon conceded to world 122 Gambia.

Togo women only played 7 games from what I see all in the last year and scored in all 7 but against poor teams except Tunisia.
I can see Cameroon winning easily enough though here as odds of 1-8 suggest.
But hopefully Togo get a consolation
    Prediction 4-1 Cameroon…..

I wasn’t talking about that Togo game, Elvis (thanks, incidentally😉)

I made the mistake of trying to watch the over-hyped England women’s team – quite shocking really, and 12 year old kids could play better.

Fortunately, Boris making a tool of himself did provide better entertainment 🤣

      Aye it’s a tough watch.
I saw a couple of England’s friendlies and without hard tackles and a bit of old fashion uumph it’s pretty sterile entertainment and I won’t watch it.
It’s technically ok and some of the players are easy on the eye 👱‍♀️but it’s like touch rugby, non contact football ❌
