It seems like Juventus have well and truly knackered their season.
After being demolished 4-1 by Parma (at home, no less!) at the start of the year, the Old Lady's confidence looks completely shot.
With no hope of lifting the Scudetto at the end of the current campaign, all hopes were quickly pinned on success in the Italian Cup…only to be shooed-out by Roma in mid-week in a performance that lacked any fizz or fight.
Juve have won just once this month and will end the season without a major trophy again. Disappointing, unacceptable even, for a club of their stature.
On the flip side, Udinese are gradually getting better and better. The likes of Antonio Di Natale (2-1, anytime, Boylesport) and the hugely talented Alexis Sanchez (10-3, bet365) help blend an attacking, free-flowing style with an organised backline.
They thumped the reigning Italian and European champions 3-1 last week and victory over Juve could see them break into the top six.
Juventus are also struggling with injuries with six players, including strikers Vincenzo Iaquinta and Luca Toni, out. Alessandro Del Piero (2-1, anytime, Boylesports) and Amauri should lead the line but it's a sign of desperation that that they are willing to take a punt on the Brazilian, considering he's been so poor in Turin that the club can't shift him.
I'd take Udinese here with Paddy Power offering 12-5 on the win.
