LEICESTER CITY travel to Poland to face a Legia Warsaw side arguably even more beleaguered than them with both teams suffering disappointing starts to their campaign.
Brendan Rodgers' side have just not caught fire this season and a stuttering start has seen them lose three Premier League games already and they were lucky to be held to a 2-2 draw by Burnley at the weekend.
They've not been helped by injuries to Jonny Evans, Wesley Fofana, and James Justin at the back this season and defensively they have looked very suspect.
However, they are doing better than Polish champions Legia who are languishing in 15th place in the Ekstraklasa this season after seven games, where they have already lost four of them, although they do have two games in hand over the leaders.
However, in European terms they haven't done too badly. This will be their tenth European game already this season and they have eliminated Slavia Prague who looked so impressive last season out of the Europa League. There was no shame in losing to a very good Dinamo Zagreb side either in the Champions League.
Leicester started with a draw against Napoli in the group stages while Legia got off to a flier when they won at Spartak Moscow.
How the bookies view this
The English club are warm favourites everywhere with the 5/7 offered by SBK the best price you will get. The same firm offer the hosts at 9/2 for a win with bet365 pricing up the draw at 3/1.
Recent head to heads
The clubs have never met before so here's action from Legia's last game – their shock 3-2 weekend defeat to Rakow Czestochowa
Players to watch
Albanian striker Ernest Muci has scored three times for Legia Warsaw this season including against Dinamo Zagreb in a Champions League qualifier. He's 10/3 with Paddy Power to score anytime.
Jamie Vardy only came on for the last two minutes against Napoli and probably won't start in the Polish capital. Ayoze Perez scored against the Italians and will likely get the nod. He's 3/1 with BetVictor to score.
Anything else catch the eye?
Leicester have managed to keep just one clean sheet in the Premier League this season and that was on the opening day against Wolves.
Legia have conceded in each of their last five Polish league games too so there should be goals at both ends. Both teams to score is a perfectly acceptable 19/20 with 10Bet.
The Foxes look far too flaky to back at odds-on at the moment, particularly as they are likely to prioritise the league after a poor start to the season.
Legia may be struggling domestically, but they seem to raise their game in Europe and the 11/4 on the hosts to score two or more goals looks to be value.
