LEICESTER are featured on the TV once again and we have an absorbing contest in prospect with both sides needing three points in their respective battles for a play-off and second spot in their penultimate game of the season.
Last Saturday's 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace saw Nigel Pearson's men slip down to seventh and means they have now won just one of their last 11 games.
They have conceded twice in each of their last three games and not kept a clean sheet for 12 matches, although leading scorer Chris Wood has netted in each of the last two.
After a traumatic couple of months Pearson will at least feel his men are showing some fighting spirit as they try to avoid missing out on the play-offs, having looked contenders for automatic promotion at the turn of the year.
Second place is not out of reach for Gianfranco Zola's Watford side. Hull may be four points ahead but have two tricky looking games left – a trip to Barnsley and the visit of champions Cardiff to the KC Stadium on the final day of the season.
Much of Watford's most impressive football has come on the road where their fluid counter-attacking style can be seen to its best effect so they will fancy their chances of grabbing the three points here and piling on the pressure on to Steve Bruce's outfit.
Leicester are priced at 2.02 which is a lay in my book given their recent run and Watford's away form which is the best in the division with 11 wins and 40 goals to their name on their travels.
Over 3.5 goals would have paid out in each of Leicester's last three matches, while the visitors are the division's leading scorers and have to go for the three points. At 2.88 it is the second recommended bet for the evening.

Rayo Vallecano v Osasuna
Friday 20:00 (Live on Sky Sports Xtra)
Vallecano 1.86 Osasuna 4.9 draw 3.8
Rayo won this fixture 6-0 last season.
In Vallecas they’ve beaten 7/11 bottom-half visitors, while Osasuna have lost 12/20 away to anyone and – most recently – 5/7 anywhere.
There are two concerns around the home win: Rayo are drifting comfortably towards a mid-table finish; and Leo Baptistao, who might replace Falcao at Atletico Madrid in the summer, is out for the season.
There should at least be a performance from club captain Piti. The attacking midfielder has scored four of Rayo’s last six goals, and in 12/29 Liga appearances this term.

Interesting past H2H results in this fixture with goals always likely. Leicester have won the last 4 at home v Watford and before a 2-0 they had 4-1 and 4-2 successes although Watford a quite a different side to those. I definately see goals and will be backing 4-1 Leicester and 4-2 Leicester from a value perspective as Watford do concede alot on the road and if Leicester turn up with their A game then they have the capabilities to score a few.
2 scorers selections that interest me are Schlupp and King. Both pop up with important gaols and with Leicester expected to push hard for the win then they could create numerous chances.
Watford cary a significant threat going forward themselves and Leicester have shown themselves to be vunerable at the back in matches agaoinst the likes of Birmingham.
My call is Leicester 4-1 @ 40-1 and 4-2 @ 50-1
Gone for Watford to win with over 2.5 goals. 15/4
Ive done the same at 4-2 and 3-3 great value for a couple of quid and a good game too.. Don’t mind losing a couple if it don’t come off
Id cover the old 3-2 leicester too with your 2 bets mate, nothing worse than if the scoreline falls inbetween your punts! Still big odds!
Good thinking Carl d… Have lost so many by the odd goal and its only couple of quid more to cover it… Good luck with yours
