IT did seem only a matter of time before Arsenal clawed back a place in the top four.

While Arsene Wenger’s men have quietly set about piecing back together a peviously dismal campaign, Spurs and Chelsea have both been at their charitable best.

The Gunners are now a point ahead of both in third place, though Chelsea have a game in hand. Victory on Tuesday would lift them to within three points of second-placed Manchester City – albeit having played two matches more.

They were made to work for their latest three points against Norwich City, winning 3-1 after trailing with only five minutes remaining. Now with six games of the season left Arsenal’s favourite trophy is theirs to lose.

Abou Diaby (knee) is out while Tomas Rosicky (hamstring) is battling for fitness.

In truth talk of Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea could still be premature. In this form perhaps two will miss out instead of one.

Because after notching a fourth win in five over QPR on Saturday Everton are still in the hunt for European football.

David Moyes’ men are just three points off Chelsea in fourth, though their goal difference is inferior. It remains unlikely but you rule the Toffees out at your peril.

Tony Hibbert (calf) could return to action soon after injury.

Probable line-ups

Arsenal (4-2-3-1): Fabianski; Sagna, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Monreal; Ramsey, Arteta; Walcott, Cazorla, Podolski; Giroud.

Everton (4-2-3-1): Howard; Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Baines; Gibson, Osman; Mirallas, Fellaini, Pienaar; Anichebe.

Finally I get to watch my team on the tele again… Although saying that the last time they lost 3-0 to Wigan in the cup… This a differant bag of worms though… Jellyfish 1st goal 3-1 Everton all day long…

Can see arsenal winning this home advantage should see them through and Everton got a poor record in this fixture.

Games in England look a bit tight to call tomorrow,i might have a wee flutter with 2 teams in N.Ireland
Cliftonville…already won the lg so might get on the overs 2.5 market.
Crusaders..they will win but price may be slim, might be tempted by a -1
Scotland….Partick…they will win, price no doubt skinny so i may go either on the score 2+ goals or over 2.5 in game market havent decided or even looked yet.
Havent really looked at the games yet as ive been busy but im off tomorrow so ill post then.

Leeds may be worth a punt tomorrow at home to burnley,New manager so we know the effect that has as was shown on saturday when a goal down to Sheff Wed,Burnleys form is p*ss poor winning once in 7 but a lot of draws,i wont let the draws put me off under new management i can see a Leeds victory at odds of around 6/4 :)

    Monte Carlo 14:00

    Goffin v Almagro

    Odds: Bet365
    Goffin 5.50
    Almagro 1.14

Almagro showed somewhat of a meltdown against Isner in the Houston final in the US on Sunday, two days on and his back in action against a very stubborn Goffin. Almagro will likely be tired, jet lagged and still have the final defeat in the back of his mind.

Put that together with the fact that Goffin can be a nuisance to anyone on clay, last time out in the French Open he took a set from world No.3 Roger Federer and the fact that in the last 10 clay matches he has only lost to love once there is value here in the +Sets market.

    My tip

Goffin +1.5 sets to beat Almagro
    @ 2.66 Pinnacle

Gunner, Wilshere is almost certain not to play against Everton. Wenger’s saying he rushed him back and he wasn’t really ready for the Norwich match.

Gunner not sure about Wilshere, he didn’t look fully fit on Saturday and I think it was a mistake throwing him straight back in, running around sheepishly and not wanting the ball (not him at all) then somewhat limped off with around half hour to go. Hopefully it’s just his fitness and he’s back but well see… Fingers crossed!

Bolton look a good bet at13/5 too win at a Leicester side struggling for any sort of form, winning just 1 in the last 10 matches and there’s nobody in the Championship collected more points in their last 10 matches than the Wanderers…I’ll be on them at what seems a huge price

    Ramsey – Arteta
