FOCUS on Tuesday is on the Betfred Cup ties as the group stage games continue.
There are also National League North and South games if you know much about those teams. And of course we have the much-maligned EFL Cup ties. It's not easy to call winners without seeing line-ups but there are usually plenty of goals and league teams generally see off academy sides.
I watched the FA Cup tie between National League North Oxford City and Northampton on Monday night and it seriously lacked quality. Northampton were particularly poor and deserved to go out 2-1.
My suggested tip was both teams to score while Scott Allot's Bundesliga 2 BetBuilder landed thanks to Holten Kiel's last-gasp equaliser against Hamburg.
There were some nice winners on the comments section including HullShaker so well done to everyone.
In the Betfred Cup games include an all Premiership tie between St Johnstone vs Dundee United and Dundee vs League One leaders Cove so hopefully we'll see some decent action and a few goals.
I'm taking both to score at Dundee as well as Kelty vs Peterhead. Lowland League Kelty are out to prove they should be part of the league set-up and can at least score against a Peterhead side who have conceded seven in three.
Cove have a 100 per cent record in League One after promotion at the first attempt from League Two. They're a progressive club with some decent strikers and while Dundee away is a big challenge they should score with their opponents conceding 10 in their last four.
Complete a both to score treble with Telstar vs Go Ahead in the Eerste League. Both have scored in the last five meetings between the sides and in eight of 10 of Telstar's matches.
Lowland League Kelty face Peterhead at home and I agree with SlipsTips about the chances of Barry Ferguson's side scoring.
There's not much else on the go as we gear up the Euro 2020 play-off finals and Nations League matches on Thursday.
Both to Score Treble
- Kelty Hearts vs Peterhead
- Dundee vs Cove
- Telstar vs Go Ahead Eagles (8pm)

Really like Arsenal to win and it looks like i’m not on my own as the price has dropped to 13/10 from 11/4.They won their last two against league opposition and Gillingham had an f.a cup encounter at the weekend.

Mumbai Indians is preparing for their fifth title.MI has the strongest team in IPL and are heavy favourites to win against the underdogs Delhi capitals. But the value is with DC with a young team that wants to win which has a good bowling unit and found form in batting. I really want DC to win their first title by defeating the best team in the IPL and going against my mind that says Mumbai will win. waiting for the toss
KIllie look generous at 4/7 to beat Clyde. I know Killie still have some CoVid absentees but it didn’t stop them pasting Dunfermline 3-0 under similar conditions, and Clyde are much poorer than Dunfermline.
So I’m on a Killie/Hearts double at Evens (generally)
I’m also on Hearts to score 3+ at 6/4
and Hearts to score 4+ at 9/2. (Skybet prices)
Dunfermline beat Killie 3 0

Afternoon gents,
Decent night in Peru yesterday with all 3 bets landing but looking at lot closer to home tonight…
DARLINGTON VS. BOSTON UNITED
I fancy a few goals in this one and am taking a strong Darlo side to grab a brace for the main pick:
DARLO OVER 2.5TEAM GOALS
(6/4, bet365) NAP ⭐⭐⭐
BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE 2ND HALF
(9/4, bet365) NB ⭐⭐
BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE BOTH HALVES
(12/1, bet365) LONGSHOT ⭐
Best of luck!
Did you mean Darlington over 1.5tg? Over 2.5tg pays 9/2
Hull… Did you mak a mistake? Shouldn’t it be over 1.5team goals
gents going by the odds would suggest its over 1.5 team goals

Do like betting on the EFL Trophy as the disparity between the U21 sides and the League 1/2 sides tends to show itself in goals and corners. Tonight I’m focusing on four U21 teams that proved this in their opening round of games:
Plymouth 2 Norwich U21 3 & Newport County 0 Norwich U21 5
11 first half corners – Peterborough vs Fulham U21
6 first half corners – Hull vs Leicester U21 & 6 first half corners – Harrowgate Town vs Leicester U21
7 first half corners – Southend vs West Ham U21 & 5 first half corners – Colchester vs West Ham U21
I’ve added in three more junior fixtures from South America and Europe that should see a few goals for a long shot.
Good luck all
Its Leicester U21s in the NAP obviously
If anyone took Arsenal u21 can cover Gillingham double chance at 7/4.
cheers macca, letting it run though………….
tomorrow, too much time on my hands so taking some early prices in the betfred on wednesday………..
hamilton have shipped 21 goals and face a tricky long trip away to stranraer, last time they travelled to the south of scotland were beat 4-1 by annan, stranraer not scoring many but do score in most games and dont ship many either………….
stranraer plus 2 at 5/6
stranraer o1.5tgs 4/1
stranraer win 15/2
stranraer to score, airdrie & st mirren overs 9/2
will be keeping an eye out for hulls NILFS too when prices appear…………..
21 goals shipped in 5 games rather
I was at a few Stranraer games last season it wasnt pretty ,got a few new players in now though and spent a bit of cash and they eventually got there first 3 points for ages v Cowdenbeath on Saturday, Hamilton have to win there last 2 matches to qualify the other being home to Albion Rovers so you would assume they are taking it seriously though as you say there defence is leaking goals ,I dont think the journey will make much difference most of the Stranraer squad are Glasgow based its a no bet game for me but gl

Looks like the Darlo bets are bust but more worryingly, looks a very serious injury to Nicky Hunt…game stopped for nearly 20 minutes now.
Well done all winners
They didn’t finish the game, I hope it gets voided, the useless tw@ts.
Hi Hull, followed you on the BTTSSH bet and Skybet have settled it as a loser. Is that right, as match was abandoned?
Thoughts with the lad badly injured…but any idea what happens to the over 2.5 goals bets inplay?
doesnt look good, ambulance on its way and hes still laid out on the pitch.
Bet365 have settled as a loser when surely about 15 minutes would still have to be played. Hmmmm.
Hope the lad is alright bet365 must void total goals plus both to score 2nd half as per their rules
Settled mines as a big fat x mikey
FYI, skybet have settled it as void. was initially as loss
i assume other bookies will do the same, give it time.
Cheers for the heads up
no problem!
If you read their rules any outcome that was not decided must be voided my bets have a red dot but it’s in the unsettled bets they will have to void it they can’t change the rules
Hunty took one for the team and put everyone money back in their pockets. Get well soon lad
I had a accumulator with sky bet all won but the game that was abandoned they voided it and paid the rest as a winner
That’s what should happen.
Skybet have posted on Twitter guys, paid out on Boston win but void every other that never won/lost ie HT FT etc
I had a multiple bet with PP But they have it down as a losing bet. i have questioned them and still awaiting a response. should the multiple be voided stakeback or paid out as a treble on the other selections?
Skybet said they voided bets but paid out on Boston win so should be ok, PP usually the best for payouts
International friendlies tomorrow. A lot of people will write these off as pointless meaningless games which for the most part I guess they are but from a betting angle I noticed something interesting in the last round of friendlies. Quite a few games saw at least 3 cards / 30+ booking points land:
France Ukraine – 3
Switzerland Croatia – 3
Holland Mexico – 6
Germany Turkey – 4
Austria Greece – 5
Luxembourg Liechtenstein – 3
Malta Gibraltar – 7
Montenegro Latvia – 4
Denmark Faroe Islands – 4
Belgium Ivory Coast – 4
England Wales – 3
Japan Cameroon – 3
Naturally the odds offered on these, being friendlies, were very generous. Sky have priced up the vast majority of this next glut of friendlies as well and once again the prices look good. Never something to go big on but definitely worth putting together an acca or two on.
In truth the referee appointments for this round of games look decent as well. Some of the most card happy whistlers from various respective domestic leagues are in action so the only real question is does all that go out the window when it comes to friendlies or not.
I’ve picked out a treble (there were loads of candidates in truth) based on the latter criteria, ie, that these guys still seem to flash the cards no matter what the competition or what’s at stake. All three are prolific domestically and in European club football and all three have shown card counts of 3/4 upwards in international friendly action before. On top of that the three fixtures in question are between relatively closely matched opponents which should mean they are a bit more competitively contested than a run of the mill friendly.
15/1 treble
