CELTIC have ruled Rangers for the past few seasons and I can't see that dominance ending today.
The Hoops have won 10 and drawn two of the last 12 meetings and their only dropped points in the previous eight came against Graeme Murty's men.
That 1-1 draw came at Parkhead when Murty was in caretaker charge before the arrival of Pedro Caixinha.
Murty would bite your hand off another draw today and that pays a best 17-4 at BetStars.
Celtic are as usual short at 2-5 with Marathonbet while Rangers are as big as 17-2 with BetStars.
Brendan Rodgers's side are no longer invincibles but have responded well to losing to Hearts by winning three in a row.
The treble winners have shown some weaknesses but when it matters – like against Aberdeen – they usually get the job done and the absence of Kenny Miller and Ryan Jack won't help Gers.
I don't want to take 2-5 but I'm interested in Celtic -1 at evens with Paddy Power. Hoops fans may look at -2 at 3-1 with betfair.
Moussa Dembele netted five against Rangers last season and is expected to lead the line despite being linked with a January move to England. He is 3-1 with William Hill to score first and 10-11 at Paddy Power to net.
If you fancy a red that pays 11-5 with Unibet while a Rangers sending off is 17-5 with the same firm.
Second-placed Aberdeen are 17-20 with William Hill to end Hearts' eight-game unbeaten run. The last four meetings between the sides at Pittodrie have gone under 2.5 goals and with the Jambos conceding just two in those eight that looks on at 13-16 with 188Bet. It was 0-0 when they clashed at Murrayfield.
Hibs v Killie looks the best game of the 3pm kick-offs with Steve Clarke's visitors unbeaten in six.
Neil Lennon's men will be hurting after Oli Shaw's goal against Hearts wasn't spotted and while they are odds-on favourites at 4-5 with William Hill and Ladbrokes I'd prefer to back both to score at evens with Ladbrokes. Both sides have netted in six of their last seven.
In the Championship best bets could be Inverness who have already beaten Brechin three times this season by an aggregate of 10-0. They are 9-20 at McBookie and 7-5 to win to nil for the fourth time.
Ayr surprised most people by losing at Airdrie last week without scoring. They should get back on track today against a Forfar side who have lost six in a row.
The Honest Men are no bigger than 1-5 at William Hill so goals are the way to go. Ayr have hit eight in two meetings with Forfar this season so consider Ayr and over 3.5 goals at 6-5 with Paddy Power.
Arbroath v East Fife looks good for goals while Airdrie are 9-5 at Marathonbet to follow their Ayr shock by seeing off Alloa at home.
In League Two the big game is Montrose v Peterhead and I'm siding with the home at 2-1 with Marathonbet.
Stats wise the best bet could be under 2.5 goals at Edinburgh v Clyde at 10-11 with bet365. Clyde's last three matches have finished scoreless and their previous six have gone under 2.5.
The last two meetings between the sides at Meadowbank have gone under 1.5 and that pays 57-20 at Marathonbet.
Please note the Championship matches at Livingston and Dumbarton are already off and others could fall victim to the snow in the morning so please check.
