Djion v PSG (Saturday 4pm)

PSG travel to Dijon on Saturday afternoon, three days before their Champions League match against Anderlecht. The Parisians are three points clear at the top of the table over Monaco and want to increase their lead.

However, they have a depleted team for this game. Thiago Silva, Thomas Meunier, Angel Di Maria and Layvin Kurzawa are all injured while Marco Verratti is a huge doubt as well.

On top of that, Julian Draxler is ill and the other South Americans (Cavani, Neymar, Marquinhos, Dani Alves) have come back late from the international break back home. So it will be very difficult for Unai Emery to field a very competitive team. At least Javier Pastore is back from injury, alongside Thiago Motta.

But it will be a very mixed team that PSG will field on Saturday. Paris have been on fire this season with seven wins and a draw in the league. They are full of confidence and momentum but they will take nothing for granted.

PSG have won the two league games they played in Dijon in the league and are still unbeaten as well this season. They are huge favourites before this game, even with a reserve team in.

Dijon have not started the season well and are currently 17th in the table. They have not won any of their last four league matches and have never kept a clean sheet this season so far! They are not confident at all.

The quality of their pitch, in an excellent condition, will even play against them and advantage PSG during the game on Saturday. Olivier Dall’Oglio should field a very defensive team to try to frustrate Paris but it is hard to see Dijon not conceding in this game. PSG will win.

Julien's Tips

  • Correct score: Dijon 0, PSG 3 (6-1, Unibet)
  • First scorer: Mbappe (3-1, Unibet)
  • Mbappe to score 2+ (4-1, Unibet)
