JUVENTUS reached the Champions League Final last season and can get their latest campaign up and running tonight after a bruising 3-0 defeat at Barcelona on matchday one.
Max Allegri's men welcome Greek champs Olympiakos who are mired in crisis having sacked their manager at the weekend. They were beaten at home by Sporting in their Group D opener and have won just one of their last five games in all competitions, with the collapse from 2-0 up to crash 3-2 to AEK Athens on Sunday proving the final straw for gaffer Besnik Hasi.
Takis Lemonis returns for his fourth spell in charge and surely his first assignment will be a damage limitation job. Juve have won and kept a clean sheet in all four league games on home soil this season and have only conceded in one of their last four at home in the Champions League.
Juve are just 1-6 for victory but another win to nil looks likely at 8-13 with BetVictor.
In Group A, both to score has a decent chance in the Basel v Benfica game at 3-4 with bet365. Basel have netted in every home game since May 2016 and scored in their last six Euro ties on their own patch – including against big guns Arsenal, PSG and Porto.
In recent months they tend to concede too and Benfica – yet to draw a blank this season – have the talent to take advantage.
I'm completing the treble with Celtic scoring away to Anderlecht in Group B at 4-11 with Betfred. The managerless Belgians are no great shakes and Brendan Rodgers' men have pace and quality in the likes of Scott Sinclair, Patrick Roberts and Leigh Griffiths to punish them on the counter-attack.
