IT'S FA Cup weekend and I'll start the line with a couple of knockout games.
First up it's Leicester v Swindon with Paolo di Canio's men looking to produce another shock after beating Wigan in the previous round.
A couple of weeks ago you'd have fancied the League Two men but successive wins against Nottm Forest (4-0 in a cup replay) and at Southampton (2-0) have raised spirits around Leicester.
However, Forest are the only side of the last five visitors not to score at the Walker's so high-flying Swindon will at least fancy their chances of grabbing one.
Next it's a fairly obvious call with West Brom v Norwich. It was 2-1 Norwich when the sides met in the league a couple of weeks ago but the Baggies were mugged.
They'll be looking for revenge and with both sides seemingly safe from a drop battle the line-ups shouldn't be too different.
Norwich usually concede – last week's was their first clean sheet of the season – but they also score their fair share.
Next try Peterborough v Portsmouth in the Championship. It was 3-2 Boro at Fratton Park earlier in the campaign while Boro also lost 3-2 at Cardiff last week and have conceded eight in three games.
Peterborough games aren't as action-packed as they used to be but I can see both scoring here.
In League Two Hartlepool and Carlisle fans will be hoping for plenty of thrills and spills.
Hartlepool are getting better under new boss Neale Cooper and have netted in five of their last six games while Carlisle's last six have seen both teams score, with a total of 24 goals in them.
Finish off the fivefold with Braintree v Barrow in the Blue Square Premier. I'd gone off Braintree for a bit but they're back in favour after four successive games with both scoring.
They even netted the opener at leaders Fleetwood on Tuesday before losing a man and going down 3-1. Barrow, who killed my Super Single with a last-gasp equaliser against Grimsby, have been involved in games which have produced 22 in their last five so let's hope for more of the same.
