IT was an 11-10 Super Single loser and 13-2 winner on a strange night at The Hawthorns.

West Brom looked home and dry at 2-0 and for anyone who doesn't believe in covering a bet this is why I do it. I did 1pt on Everton not to lose at 13-2 (but it's pointed out I advised 0.5pt) and they launched a superb comeback to win 3-2.

I accept there wasn't a lot of time between West Brom's second goal and Everton's first but with 4pts at stake I was on the cover immediately. It was a loss of 0.75pts with the 0.5pt cover though.

It was good to see Greg back with a couple of winners and hopefully it's the start of a decent week.

I've posted a Champions League preview and well as the European games there are loads of fixtures in the English leagues and I've had a look at them this morning.

My Super Single in the Daily Record is Colchester at home to Bradford and I'm taking it here too. Colchester have been in brilliant form and I took them at Swindon at the weekend as they made it three wins in a row. They've lost one in six and in that spell netted 12 and conceded 12 so a Colchester win and both to score is also a shout at 4-1 with bet365 and BetVictor.

Colchester have drifted slightly to a best 2-1 at bet365 and BetVictor but I've no idea why. There's nothing in the team news that puts me off so if you're concerned leave them out or wait fir line-ups.

I'm adding a second in Fulham at home to Wolves. There is huge concencus on the site that Fulham will win and I agree with that and expect Scotland striker Ross McCormack, six in six games, to score again. He is 11-8 at McBookie.

I put up a Champions League treble on the other post and I'm adding Zenit to make it a fourfold that pays just under 3-1.

Got a feeling that Colchester price will shorten MrF?

    • Kyle B 9 years ago

Colchester on the drift here, there and everywhere. 2/1 may be available soon me thinks, bookies maybe know something punters have not latched onto. Possibly a crucial bit of team news

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Kyle B, I checked team news – nothing bad to report from the Colchester end as far as I can see.
Only stat I didn’t like was h2h with three draws and a Bradford win in last four meetings.

Last time I took Arsenal in champs league they got undone by Monaco, a game I recall very well. Hope we get a more clinical Arsenal in front of goal tomorrow otherwise im gonna be tearing my hair out. It is gonna be all about PACE, SPEED and SHARPNESS in a free flowing Arsenal attack. Good luck guys!

Hey mrf. You advised a 0.5 cover on Everton. Some comeback by them!

Evening gents – don’t need to say too much about Tuesday’s NAP( over 2.5 goals) – Fulham are in great scoring form and at home can beat anyone! They come into this full of confidance – with Ross McCormack spearheading their attack, goals are likely! Both sides have seen both teams score in 7 of their 8 league matches, Fulham are hardly water tight at the back, should be an open game with the hosts coming out on top

  10. Paul 9 years ago

A decent night`s betting for me. Got 7/4 in-play on over 1.5 second half goals in the West Brom game and that was settled about 5 minutes later. Watching a game live makes so much more sense when deciding what market to bet on.

  11. L1 9 years ago

You said 0.5 on the 13/2 so you lost 0.75 Mr Fixit.

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

L1, it was done in a hurry obviously. I covered with 1pt but I’ve checked and did indeed advise 0.5pts so happy to amend the figures.

  12. @Sir_Betalot 9 years ago

Can anyone tell me what the profit/loss is for the year please?

Trying to get a long term view.

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Sir Betalot, take a look for yourself – all the figures are there for each month.
But you know what – it’s the next bet that’s most important.

  13. craigyboy 9 years ago

Paul whilst I agree to the statement that watching games can be good in terms of placing bets in certain markets if you’d have watched the first thirty minutes of the game you’d have said it was a definite under 2.5 goals game.
I would also suggest if Everton hadn’t have scored that quickly after West Brom’s second I reckon the home side would have seen it through. That Everton goal shocked them.

  14. @Sir_Betalot 9 years ago

People done well if they managed to cover tonight. Only 1 minute between the goals and the betting would have been suspended for most of that..

    • Hank 9 years ago

I agree with this. One minute between the goals. The chances of people going from watching the game to seeing Mr F’s 0.5 point ‘cover tip’ comment and then placing the bet themselves inside that amount of time were absolutely slim at best to no chance at worst.

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Hank, to be fair it wasn’t my fault Everton scored so quickly. I’m watching the game with account open and basically started hitting the button as soon as prices came back up which was only about 15 seconds.
After placing the bet at 13-2 I then commented the advice and about 20 seconds later Everton scored.
The advice was being given whether Everton scored quickly or didn’t score at all.
      Goodnight all.

    • Hank 9 years ago

      Mr F, appreciate that.

  15. JamesyLFC 9 years ago

Putting this little number up tonight for tomorrow before prices drop as looking at stats it looks worth a dabble with low stakes as always with this type of bet.

craigyboy, I hear you but I only caught the second half and the opening 5 minutes appeared open hence the overs bet.

  17. Rob 9 years ago

I rarely post tips on the site though I do enjoy a good look around at what the more experienced tipsters are advising. Hoping I may have found an edge over the bookies on the Ryman Premier Division clash tomorrow between Met Police and Dulwich Hamlet.

Twitter reports that Met Police could be missing up to 10 players for this match. The manager is quoted as saying only 3 of these have any chance of being fit. The hosts lost their last game 6-0 and mid table (but free scoring) Dulwich should be odds on in my opinion.

Bet365 offer 7/5 for the away win.

dirk99 whilst I wasn’t on this bet I believe referees would get more respect if they did this as a standard thing.
You could have the two managers come on and give an interview followed by the referee.
I think this whole thing of not allowing referees to talk after a game is a disgrace and is probably another reason why fans and players dish out dog’s abuse in a match situation.

Not as confident in this one as I was on Leicester arsenal btts but I think this one has a decent chance with both teams going for the win. Maccabi v Kiev btts is the game I’m looking at @ evens. Maccabi lost 4-0 to Chelsea last game week so will surely look at their home games for the points whilst Kiev Drew at home to Porto 2-2. Maccabi have seen btts in their 3 home games so far. Bookies make Kiev 1.95 favourites. The 2 most recent meetings came back in 2011 in the Europa league where it finished 1-1 and 3-3. Here’s hoping for a repeat!

Mr F,as a free site where people get free tips I think your tips are followed by a lot of people. But I believe a lot of them don’t have an online account, fair enough you advise to cover but what about those people who cannot cover and for those who are abroad where there is a big time difference where they can’t even watch the game, they place their bets and go to sleep,so for them your West Brom draw no bet tips is a loser and they have already lost. What’s your say regarding this matter?

    Good morning folks,

Here is my NAP ans NB for today.

    19:45 Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers – Prediction 2.1 – Suggested Bets – BTTS 4/6 (NAP) over 2.5 goals @ 17/20, Fulham to win @13/10

    Key Facts

    * Fulham have seen BTTS in 7 of their last 8 home league fixtures and in 12 out of 15 going back to January – that’s an 80% success rate
    * Fulham have seen 8 of their last 10 home fixtures produce more than 2.5 goals and 11 out of 15 going back to January
    * Fulham have won 3 of their last 4 league fixtures, including a resounding 4.0 win over London rivals QPR in their last outing at the Cottage.
    * Wolves have seen BTTS in 7 of their last 9 away league fixtures and in 11 of their last 14 league fixtures since April – that’s a 78% success rate
    * Wolves have lost 5 of their last 10 away league fixtures including 2 of the last 3
    * Wolves have won only 2 of their first 8 league fixtures this season.
    * Wolves have kept only 2 clean sheets in their last 14 away league fixtures
    * However they have scored in 15 of their last 17 away fixtures, scoring 21 goals in the process
    * Wolves have seen BTTS in 8 of their last 10 away Championship fixtures and in 15 of their 20 most recent league fixtures – 75- 80% success rate
    * Wolves have seen over 2.5 goals in 5 of their last 8 away league fixtures

FINAL VERDICT – BTTS my Tuesday NAP

I can’t see past the possibility of BTTS here @4/6 with some very favourable stats to back up the selection.

Fulham are in some good form at the moment and Wolves struggled to only a point at Preston at the weekend and I have a feeling
Fulham might nick this one but not before BTTS while this is a fixture that is likely to go over 2.5 goals as well.

I’m making the BTTS selection my NAP for today

19:45 Brentford vs Birmingham -Prediction -2.1 – Suggested Bets – BTTS @4/6 (NB) BTTS and over 2.5 goals @21/20

    Key Facts

    * Brentford have seen BTTS in 7 out of 8 league fixtures so far this season – BTTS @4/6
    * 10 of their last 11 home league fixtures have also seen BTTS. All 10 of those games also went over 2.5 goals – Over 2.5 goals @4/5
    * Brentford have scored in 20 of their last 21 home fixtures – that’s 95% success rate
    * There have been over 2.5 goals scored in Brentford’s last 14 home games in Championship.
    * Clean sheets are a rarity for Brentford with only 3 in their last 18 home fixtures
    * Brentford have won only 2 out of 8 fixtures so far this season, costing Dutch mananger Marinus Dijkhuizen his job. Former Everton midfielder Lee Carsley has been appointed until the end of the season
    * Brentford have lost 3 of their last 5 home fixtures and are without a win in 4.
    * Birmingham have seen BTTS in 5 of their last 8 Championship fixtures and in 7 of their last 12 away league fixtures
    * Birmingham have scored in 10 of their last 12 away league fixtures
    * Birmingham are unbeaten in 5 away league fixtures with 3 wins and 2 draws

FINAL VERDICT – Goals very likely here.

BTTS looks very likely considering the stats while Brentfords’ home record means I can’t ignore the possibility of over 2.5 goals @4/5 and I may well combine both selections in my final best bets.

Brentford will be looking for a respone under their new manager while Birmingham need to imrpove after a dissappointing home defeat to Rotherham and I expect this to be an open game from the off.

Over 2.5 goals and BTTS are my two picks here but I can’t pick a winner between two teams struggling for consistency .

Suggested Bets (In order of confidence)

Fulham vs Wolves – BTTS 4/6 (NAP)
Brentford vs Birmingham – BTTS @4/6 (NB)

    Morning gents,

My Rio Carnival turned into a funeral procession with the hosts inability to score a second last night and apologies for anyone that backed it.

Onwards and hopefully upwards today – I posted a bit of info last night about Bury’s visit to The Posh and nothing to change my views on our chances. Greg mentioned BTTS as a solid chance and I agree – still think Bury to win at 2/1 is a good price for a team that has already taken out 3 of the divisions biggest hitters.

Some stats here that may be of significance but scroll past if not bothered:

Peterborough have won 35%, drawn 25% and lost 40% of their last 20 home games.

In their last 20 home games against teams positioned in the top half of the table, Peterborough have won 8, drawn 5 and lost 7 of these matches.

In their last 20 home games against teams positioned above them in the table, Peterborough have won 6, drawn 6 and lost 8 of these matches.

Bury have won 60%, drawn 20% and lost 20% of their last 20 away games.

In their last 20 away games against teams positioned in the bottom half of the table, Bury have won 12, drawn 3 and lost 5 of these matches.

In their last 20 away games against teams positioned below them in the table, Bury have won 10, drawn 4 and lost 6 of these matches.

Bury DNB looks good at evens but I’ll be on:

    Over 2.5 goals…4/5 NAP

    Bury win…2/1 NB

    Good luck lads.

Can see us winning comfortably tonight against Scunthorpe. We hammered Crewe on Saturday in terms of shots on goal but it was just one of those days. Only slight worry i have is our poor record at Scunthorpe. Tom Bradshaw should be 100% firing again so fancy him to score at 6/4 and also fancy Sam Mantom to get on the score sheet at 10/3.

Just a heads up regarding the UEFA Youth Games,

Chelsea U19’s look like value against a very average Porto U19’s team. They are 19/20 William Hill and were 11/10 earlier on this morning. They should win that one

  66. wednesbury ay it 9 years ago

Ok, Burton Albion v Sheffield United absolutely screams goals tonight. I am going to continue to chance my arm on Billy Sharp to continue his goal scoring exploits at anytime. The best price, currently,is 9/5 with BB. As Sheffield concede they can also score and I can see no reason for Billy not to continue. For those of you who enjoy a both teams to score bet the above game is priced at 21/20 BV and although it is my own opinion I believe this also has a very good chance of obliging. Good luck.

Guys just a heads up. Nantes are away to Lille this evening at 5.30 in Ligue 1. They only played Saturday and have lost their last 4 in a row, conceding 2 or more in each of them and only scoring once. I’m not backing Lille because they’re also on a bad run. However, Nantes then travel to high-flying Nice on Saturday for their 3rd games in a week. Nice aren’t playing midweek so will have 3 extra days rest, and are also in very hot form. I’ve been looking at the price for Nice to win and Nice goals since yesterday but wanted to see how the Nantes game this evening went first. Just a heads up anyway as it could be worth backing Nice early after this evenings game as the price should drop. Rarely ever bet on French football but Nice are blowing teams away at the moment and Nantes are conceding regularly. Nice opened up at 6/4 in places and are now as low as 11/10 to win. Worth keeping an eye on.

Geoff is it really worth stcking heavy odds on shots in a Yankee?? I’d only do that if they were at least evens but even then I’d have to stick in a couple 3 or 4/1 shots. Probably best sticking wi trebles and a 4fold but GL

    Chelsea vs Southampton Saturday 5.30
    pm
Both teams need the goals to go higher
    in the EPL standings.
Mourinho’s defence is aging and have
conceded goals against all teams they
have played with the exception of Arsenal
(we knew what happened). But for that game, all of Chelsea’s EPL games have
seen both teams scoring and over 2.5
goals. Southampton are trying to rediscover their form and should get at least a goal at Stamford Bridge.

Back btts and over 2.5 goals @ 2.30 with

    My other selections for today

Leyton Orinet v Carlise KO 7.45pm

What a a stinker of a week it’s been for the Cumbrians, penalty heartache against Liverpool then an awful 1-0 defeat at home to Newport! A long trip down south is not what they would have wanted as they travel to play 3rd placed orient! The hosts are without a win in 4 having drawn their last three and a defeat at Exeter prior to that! They have have had a tough run of fixtures though and points gained away at Northampton and Cambridge aren good points to pick up on the road! This should be easier, they’ve picked up 10 points from 12 at home scoring 2 or more in three of those matches! Carlise prior to sat had seen both teams score in there 8 league matches, hard not to see them conceding a couple tonight against a side who have beaten them 4-0 1-5 4-1 1-4 In the last 4 meetings! Should see goals again here tonight!

Back Leyton Orient over 1.5 Team goals 7/10 (Coral)

I know you are upset buddy with some of the results lately but that is football and it has changed over the last few years…

You cannot blame Mr F buddy as he is only giving his opinion.

If you do not like his opinion then dont take it and best BET is not to BET…

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

arnold, it’s a strange comment to make after this was cleared up quickly last night.
I did advise a 0.5pt cover on Everton double chance and a very good cover it was too.
No one knew Everton would score so quickly but as soon as it went 2-0 I got on. Prices are suspended as you know but with most bookies it’s only for a few seconds because these are done automatically and not manually.
However, I staked 1pt simply because I was doing it quickly – as people know I usually cover the stake but maybe I should do more than that.
For example when I covered the draw at Dundee on Saturday it was 10-1 but I advised 0.2pts to recoup the stake.
Two people pointed out my mistake last night much more politely than you and I corrected the stats.
There are so many people on this site I can’t get away with making a mistake – and that’s good.

    Hi Mr F (All)

Any reason why not many people have talked about the Roma game ?

Any thought’s please as I feel they get the 3 points !

So i would love to know the reasons why not !

    Many thanks

    Kind regards

    Fish

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Fish, Ryan’s talked about Roma a lot.
I’ve focused on some teams – there are too many games tonight to look at them all.
September’s stats haven’t been great but as regulars know 2 or 3 goals have cost me dear – and there’s only one bet I regret putting up over the month.
In October I’m going to focus on fewer teams on big cards and not really look at the whole picture. I’ll see how that goes.

  81. Ryan Allan 9 years ago

    Hey Fish

I’ve covered the Roma game. Here’s what I’ve come up with

19:45 BATE Borisov vs Roma = Prediction – 1.2 – Suggested Bets BTTS @1/1, Roma to win @4/5
    Key Facts

    * Roma have not kept a clean sheet in 17 away Champions League fixtures going back 8 years with only 2 in 25 since 2003
    * 4 of Roma’s last 6 away CL fixtures have seen BTTS
    * Roma have seen BTTS in 7 of their last 9 away fixtures and in 11 of their last 12 fixtures in all competitions.
    * Roma have won only 1 of their last 7 Champions League away fixtures
    * BATE have lost 4 of their last 6 home Champions League Group stage fixtures
    * BATE lost heavily in 2 of their 3 home fixtures last season, 7.0 to Shakthar and 3.0 to Porto but they did beat Bilbao 2.1.
    * BATE have lost only 1 of their last 19 home fixtures
    * BATE have scored in 14 of their last 15 home fixtures

Final Verdict – Goals possible in likely away win for Roma

Roma will expect to collect 3 points when they travel to Armenia to take on BATE and they should have enough in their locker to collect the 3 points but given their history in this competition, it is unlikely to be easy..

Without a clean sheet in 17 away CL fixtures and with only win in 7 away, Roma are not the best of travellers in the UEFA CL and their league form suggests BTTS @1/1 has a chance at big odds.

BATE have suffered some heavy losses in recent seasons in this competition but they did well to qualify for the group stage, coming through 3 qualifying rounds and they have enough about them to make this a hard night for a Roma side with just 1 clean sheet in their 12 most recent fixtures.

The hosts have won each of their opening home fixtures in the last 2 seasons competitons and while they are unlikely to repeat that here, I fancy they can nick one against a Rome defence that has it’s faillabilities.

I expect the visitors to have enough to get the win but BATE may just make it difficult and I’ll take a chance on BTTS @1/1 with Roma to win @4/5 also pretty likely.

    • Fish 9 years ago

      Hi Ryan,

Many thanks buddy (fantastic as ever…)

Food for thought so I am going for the over 1.5 to Roma

My theory Ryan being that IF you are correct (which I hope you are)Roma will want to score 2 to win !!!

      Thanks Ryan

      Kind regards

      Fish

  82. Rob 9 years ago

Seems like other people have been reading Twitter regarding Met Police having up to 10 players absent this evening at home to Dulwich Hamlet.

Visitors price now cut from 7/5 to Evens with Bet365.

  83. Ryan Allan 9 years ago

    No problem Fish,

The CL is very tough to predict and at this early stage, i won’t be repeating the mistakes of last time around and staking too much. Roma should win and they may well score 2 or more.

Tonight’s fixtures are really tough but I have suggested bets for the Chelsea, Arsenal and Barcelona matches as well if you’re interested.

    • Fish 9 years ago

      Hi Ryan,

Do me a favour buddy please (IF YOU HAVE TIME)

Please pick four teams in the CL tonight that you think will score over 1.5 goals buddy ?

      Arsenal
      Barca
      Munich
      Roma

      Many thanks

Not that it’s needed for me to get involved, but I had time to put on Everton double chance at 6/1 when they went behind 2-0 which means everyone had time to cover and if you didn’t or just purely didn’t manage to then it’s just bad luck!! I’m sure you wasn’t complaining about the ss when it was leading 2-0.

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

re-invented, I had time as well as I’ve said but I literally had my finger on the button.

Thinking arsenal should be fine 2-0 tonight and barca to do something similar. Chelsea going to Portugal won’t be easy but can see Jose masterminding a 2-1 come from behind win. So there is my correct score trixie
    Arsenal 2-0
    Barcelona 2-0
Chelsea 2-1 and coral enhancing the treble of arsenal, Chelsea, barca to 6/1

  90. craigyboy 9 years ago

I’ve already posted my main bet tonight.

The soap opera that is Wolverhampton Wanderers took another turn yesterday when owner Steve Morgan announced he was selling the club. Only a few weeks ago he pledged his future and commitment to Wolverhampton and the club. It now appears after a confrontation on a Preston car park by some knuckle dragging ‘so called fans’ where reportedly Mr Morgan was spat at and verbally abused the Liverpool born business man has thrown in the towel.
    Who can blame him?
Wolves are on a downward spiral and have forgot how to win a game of football.
Sako hasn’t been replaced, player of the season Richard Stearman has left for tonight’s opponents. Dicko is out for the season and Afobe looks like he’s playing with a chip on his shoulder and is probably regretting not putting in a transfer request when Norwich were sniffing around him.
Rumour has it that Morgan wants £30m-£50m for the club. Any shrewd businessman would be investing in a Fulham win tonight.
On the back of a 4-0 demolition of QPR the weekend I can’t see anything but a routine Fulham win tonight.
The 11/8 for a Fulham win is way overpriced and the 9/5 off Paddy Power for Fulham to win and over 1.5 goals in the game is inflation at it’s finest.
The handicap is also worth a look as I can’t see Fulham scoring less than 2 or 3 tonight adding to the turmoil and shambles that our club is.

    Fulham to win 11/8

Fulham to win and over 1.5 goals 9/5

    Barcelona btts+over2.5
    Porto to Draw
    Porto ht-ft X-X
    Porto ht X
    Porto correct scores 0-0, 1-1
    safer double:

    Porto X ht

    Hey Fish

Arsenal yes, Bayern yes but little value in that, Barca yes but Messi out and they aren’t at their best, while I fancy Porto to score 2 or more @11/8.

I would suggest a treble on Roma, Arsenal and Porto @ just under 6/1.

Or , Bayern, Arsenal, Barca and Roma pays at just under 5/1

or if you want something more secure, Barca, Bayern and Arsenal pays @7/5

Mr fixit, I didn’t expect it myself I was just riding the goal train that has been the premiership lately and took a chance. Just don’t even know why people are mad because they didn’t have time to cover, it’s almost as if you put the ball into the back of the net yourself haha.

If anyone gets a chance have a look at the 2 Malta ladies matches on 365.

Goal Lines are around 6. I think these may have been put up without a lot of research. I’m not an expert of Maltese Ladies football but unless something dramatic has happened in the close season I think these goal lines are way too high. Yes Hibs and Birkirkara scored 83 and 63 goals in 10 games last season. But there opponents only conceded 10 and 7 – they are not the whipping “girls” in the Malta league. In fact Birkirkara v Pembroke in Jan ended 3-0. Going to double them up to both be under their goal lines at 3/1 (worth a tenner!)

    Fulham vs wolves +1.5 mgs
    Colchester vs Bradford +1.5 mgs
    Scunthorpe vs Walsall +1.5 mgs
Pays 1.7/1 but liking the look of orient vs Carlisle +1.5 mgs should I take out the Arsenal game at 2-5 and make it a fourfold over 1.5 mgs paying 1.4/1 with higher stakes or simply take the full fivefold at 2.4/1??

I mentioned last night about the buzz word bingo where I clearly heard inconsistent stated by Gary Neville on Monday Night Football…Ladbrokes didn’t pay out.
I’ve spoke to them and they are stating that they can’t listen to the programme again and as the bet is settled it is now up to me to provide evidence.
I think this is absolutely disgusting and anyone on this bet will have lost out.
    1) Is there anyway I can watch a re-run of the programme?
    2) Is there anyway I can escalate this further?

Last time they played it was 13-0, I don’t think we will see that again, bookies might price goal line high because of it hopefully not.

Guys I think you all should keep in mind that yesterday Porto celebrated their 122nd anniversary as a club. I believe they have what it takes to beat Chelsea at their home ground. I think they will nick it 2-1. Be mindful that this is going to be a tough game for Mourinho.

Apart from that Roma,Gillingham, Arsenal and Plymouth should win!

Fact still remains, its an Argentinian reserve team mate. Doubt you know one player that plays for them? An not the great Bognor Regis who are challenging for Ryman League :) Enough said mate.

I see a few have that 45k fever so why not throw up a long shot with this nice big card tonight.

    Barcelona/Leverkusen BTTS & Over 2.5

    Not quite a 45k return but I’ll take £1763 for £5.

  134. Mr H 9 years ago

Rensen that’s a great spot and after a bit of research I’ve came across this from the Met Police Twitter feed…..

Jim Cooper gave a stark overview of the tough task for the Blues as they prepare to face Dulwich Hamlet with a mounting injury crisis.

We may be without ten players for tomorrow evenings game with Dulwich Hamlet. They include Steve Sutherland, Rob Bartley, Harry Tamplin, Mekhail McLaughlin, Nik Ahamed, Neil Barrett, Ryan James, Mat Pattison, Orlando Smith and Dan Brown. Only three of those may have a chance of being fit so it looks like it will be a very tough ask for us.

Mr F. Why don’t you just put a disclaimer on the site and when someone moans or has ago just point them to the disclaimer. You really should not have to keep explaining yourself. If people do not understand the concept of a gamble/tip etc it’s not your fault but the fact remains people will continue to have a go and you do not need this. Just tell them to read the disclaimer and if the sites not for them then they can leave.

    Almost Jordan, i did 50 p :)

I don’t think I could take the stress of waiting on that last result and I’m pretty sure I would have taken the money he was being offered.

I mean, what is the worst scenario…winning 8k when it could have been 45 or winning 0 when you could have taken 8k? I suppose it depends on mentality but for me, £8000 is an awful lot of money to turn down for a dodgy bet like that.

His luck really was in though. What a bet!

  149. Mr H 9 years ago

Ha ha Jordan where did you see that? Did you hear the AIK chanting in the Stockholm derby with Hammarby on Sunday? Hammarby had a man down badly injured and the home fans were chanting “let him die”

  151. craigyboy 9 years ago

Thanks Was Clueless. It was a complete re-run and I managed to video 30 seconds of where Gary Neville states how inconsistent the league is.
I’ve now messaged Ladbrokes and told them how inconsistent their bet settling and customer service skills are.
I’m hoping they don’t ask for a copy for their benefit but if they do I will gladly send it across.

    • WasClueless 9 years ago

No problem Craigyboy and hope you get your winnings!

    • craigyboy 9 years ago

The way they’ve messed me about I want my winnings, an apology and a couple of free bets.
I wouldn’t mind but the people I were speaking to on their chat service were absolutely useless. Couldn’t spell, lied to me, passed me through to the wrong department (at one stage I was chatting to the bingo customer service team) and they were downright rude. The last bloke I spoke to even told me to have a nice day and a smiley face even though I was obviously fed up.
These bookies are all very well and good but at the end of the day you are a customer. I sincerely hope one day I win a £500k bet off them as compensation.

  152. Mr H 9 years ago

WC I think you may have been confused with Soccerways stats buddy. From what I can gather is that the league is split into 2 phases, after the 1st phase when they play each other once their is a 2nd phase with a championship group and a lower league group stage.

Pembroke lost 10 goals in the first phase when they played each side once but then conceded 57 in the second phase and lost the last 2 meetings with birkirkara 7-0 & 7-1

Raiders conceded 7 in the first phase and 19 in the second phase and seem too be the 3rd best team in the league

    • WasClueless 9 years ago

Cheers MrH see what you mean. Although the stats are all over the place with corrections beneath the 2014/15 league table. Will keep the bet on at 3/1 and hope they play like in last season’s first phase!

hello lads, there’s a few teams looking good for Win + BTTS tonight, now when I say looking good I just mean a little better than normal, with scoring teams on good runs, the following 4 look okay, I usually only go to a treble so I’ll effectively be kicking one of these teams off however they all look capable so it’s up to you who to take if you follow as I find it hard enough to get 3 up never mind 4

    FULHAM v Wolves
    COLCHESTER v Bradford
    GILLINGHAM v Fleetwood
    BURTON v Sheffield Utd

if anyone has any thoughts on which is the most dangerous of those selections please let me know because I’m finding it hard to drop one!

Evening Guys, I am on three goal scorers tonight, and one teams goals which was productive on Saturday with 2 out of 2.

Starting with Alexis Sanchez who ended his drought with a hat trick on Saturday, with back to back games with Bayern coming up this is a must win for Arsenal, and I think they will deliver. I will take Sanchez to score in what I think will be a convincing win for the Gunners. He is 13/10 Bet365.

Next it is the other English club and while it is tough to call a winner, I can see Chelsea conceding. They are not as defensively sound as they have been in recent season, conceding 16 goals already this season including 2 at Newcastle on Saturday. I like Vincent Aboubakar who has 5 in 7 this season and looks value at 9/4 Ladbrokes.

My final selection is in the Championship as Fulham take on Wolves. I know Greg has NAP the O2.5g in this match and I totally agree. It wouldn’t surprise me in Fulham covered this line themselves. I think they can go O1.5g at 23/20 Boyles. My goal scorer selection is Ross McCormack who has 6 in 6. He is 9/5 Ladbrokes.

    Anytime Scorers

    SANCHEZ 13/10
    ABOUBAKER 9/4
    MCCORMACK 9/5

  230. PeteT 9 years ago

I think a lot of people need a decent second half with some goals from some of the main suspects.

As it is looking like a poor night for me though unless Fulham and Orient games can produce some goals ….

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

PeteT, just back in. Early red has killed Fulham but anyway on Colchester can cover Super Single.
I’m advising 0.25pts on Bradford not to lose at 10-1.
Champions League results not going as expected.

    • PeteT 9 years ago

Mr F – I was on goals on the Fulham game so happy that Wolves could bag a few and make the night a break even position.

Good work on Colchester 2 level stake bets with what looks like a winner at 2/1 means profit and that’s always good.

Champions League definitely a bit of a shocker tonight though ….

  231. Luke 9 years ago

Jordan this isn’t a sign for the manc clubs tomorrow. There first games were. The top flight English clubs struggle against lower foreign opponents.

The treble pays just over 10.5/1. ‘Steven’ has a point but it still doesn’t excuse himself for going to the trouble of changing his ip address just to come and slate users of a betting site. Two nights in a row. Round of applause for the pathetic human.

    Portsmouth v Exeter O2.5mg (NAP) @ BetVictor 37/40

    All 6 of Exeters competitive away games this season have had 3 or more goals – 1-2, 3-0, 1-2, 6-3, 2-1, 4-2

    5 out of 6 Portsmouth home games this season have had 3 or more goals – 3-0, 2-1, 3-3, 1-2, 0-0, 3-1

** WON 1-2 ** – Pompey left it late but job done

  301. Tom 9 years ago

Terrible evening of results rescued by a tactical cash out for a 6 fold corners bet.

    Over 11 corners
    Peterborough v Bury (won)
    Crewe v Southend (won)
    AFC Wimbledon v Northampton (won)
    Portsmouth v Exeter (won)

    Under 10 corners
Accrington Stanley v Yeovil (lost 92nd min)
    Doncaster v Swindon (won)

    166 – 1 and had 1 point on

Final potential pot was £499.46 (£3 bet)

Chickened out and cashed around 70 mins for £135 with the Acrington Stanley v Yeovil game getting perilously close. 92nd minute corner would have beaten it so good decision though could have got higher cash out price with patience (and nerves of steel).

I’ll post my usual selection for this weekend and hope my good luck continues.

  302. Jordan 9 years ago

Ryan we were mate well done with that. Slightly annoyed with myself as when I priced up my double I originally had the Porto goal instead of the Fulham one but can only blame myself. Well done with your treble.

  318. Ryan Allan 9 years ago

    Hey Fish!

How did you get on with my suggested “teams to score more than 2 goals” tips – raging I didn’t back any of what I suggested to you

“I would suggest a treble on Roma, Arsenal and Porto @ just under 6/1.

Or , Bayern, Arsenal, Barca and Roma pays at just under 5/1

or if you want something more secure, Barca, Bayern and Arsenal pays @7/5”

    All of them winners!

I assume you would have got on one of those mate.

  319. Ryan Allan 9 years ago

Unlucky Jordan. I expected Fulham to score but I’ve said it before, red cards absolutely ruin BTTS picks.

The Porto, BATE and Barca games were excellent for me but I am an absolute jinx on Arsenal. I swear that every time I bet on them to win, they lose. When I bet on BTTS they keep a clean sheet.

Please, if anyone sees me betting on Arsenal again, give me a virtual slap or something.

Ryan Allan, what’s Wenger doing playing Aspina in a game he had to win?

    nite owl

ceara, santa cruz, santa fe btts treble tad over 6/1

  321. Alves 9 years ago

Anybody got a result rush midweek coupon??
What was the treble paying for Arsenal Roma and Chelsea getting beat wi BTTS??

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Alves, at least 500-1 for that treble. Olympiakos 9-1 and BATE 7-1 on William Hill coupon and that won’t have been biggest prices.

    Sporting Luqueno v Deportes Tolima

Advised BTTS in the 1st leg and I’m more confident of it now. Finished 1-1 in Colombia, tougher task as well this time for Tolima.

The visitors generally don’t see many goals but the South Americans take their cup competitions seriously. Luqueno’s games generally see plenty of goals. 10 of their last 12 have had BTTS coming up.

I’ll take BTTS at evens especially with both teams needing to go for it.

Word of warning – South American football is at times turgid to watch with a lot of red cards sometimes ruining bets. The stats suggest BTTS but don’t be shocked if it doesn’t happen.

The braver among you might take on over 2.5 at 7/5.

Ryan, well done tonight. A great win and sound reasoning. Fulham red card was the start of a bad night for me. Always tomorrow. jordan. Off to wembley on sunday for jets / dolphins. Can’t wait. How do you see that going. Dolphins were awful against bills. Hopefully jets will run all over them.

    Hi all,

Cerro Porteno failed to score a 2nd last night & won 1-0, apologies.

Santa Cruz v Bragantino. Serie B Brazil 1am.

Santa Cruz over 1.5 team goals 4/7 (team goal series bet 6.)

Series score- 4 wins from 5.

Again might be worth waiting in-play as its a short price again.

    Other games I’m on-

Luqueno v Tolima. Copa Sudamericana 11pm.

    BTTS 1/1.

    Ceara v Luverdense. Serie B Brazil 1am.

    BTTS 10/11.

    Toluca v Tijuana. Mexico 2am.

    Over 2.5 mg 7/10.

    4-FOLD with the 4 games above 9.19/1.

  325. Neil 9 years ago

Taking it as a good sign you’re on the same as me Shaun in the Sudamericana match!

MR F, I despair at Wenger and his decisions.

Arsenal are my second team of sorts. Always been a huge admirer of them since the days of Henry and Vieria but there is no denying that he makes some mind boggling decisions and it must be really irritating to be an actual supporter of that team.

I love Arsene Wenger, but his decision not to strengthen the outfield squad this summer was borderline insanity and certainly delusional.

Same with Pellegrini on Saturday, why do goalkeepers need to be rested for important fixtures after 6 weeks of the season?

It’s utterly infuriating as a punter and my luck with Arsenal is just awful.

Well done to those who followed my tip from last night on Dulwich Hamlet to beat an injury hit Met Police in the Ryman Premier. Price collapsed from 11/8 to 10/11 and Hamlet duly obliged with a 3-1 victory.

This was the first time I had posted a tip with research to back it up rather than just an opinion. It feels doubly good that a few others may have got on before the price collapsed.

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Rob, well done for putting that info up – it’s the kinda of comment that really helps.
I didn’t do it myself simply because I was on all my own bets and didn’t want to overstake but plenty others were.

I posted a bet for the Chelsea vs Soton match earlier.

Will also back Southampton over 1.5 team goals @ 3.75 with bet365.

Other bets I also like for the weekend include

    Bournemouth over 0.5 team goals
Norwich BTTS and over 2.5 goals
West Ham over 0.5 team goals
Bayern Munich over 1.5 team goals
Swansea over 0.5 team goals or
Arsenal BTTS and over 2.5 goals

    Nice tip Rob. Well played.

Stats are the way to go. It’s good to have an opinion, and I usually do better in the leagues and competitions that are closest to my heart but stats are really vital in my opinion.

Especially for goals bets. You can really see the patterns when you analyse the history and if you compare the price with the numbers, you can quickly find some really good bets.

Good luck with your future tips and I’d certainly advise you to follow the stats closely.
