I WASN'T willing to risk too much on Friday but it was two winners out of three to complete a couple of good days.
Antoine Griezmann's goal for France landed the Super Single and on the Top Treble I took France -1, Portugal -3 and Greece to win. The only loser was my btts treble.
Greg Browning had another fine night with his two tips trapping early.
Saturday's card is much tougher than usual with World Cup qualifiers, English League One and League Two, National League and IRN-BRU Cup games to look at. Also there is a sole Ladbrokes SPFL game with Elgin travelling to Edinburgh.
After a rocky start to the month I'm back in profit and not willing to give too much back.
Some tips are up now and the rest will be added in the morning – including the Super Single. It's Plymouth in the Daily Record but for the site I'm on Hibs to beat St Mirren and both to score at a bigger price. I've posted a World Cup preview.
Good luck today – you might need it.

Saturday’s thoughts…
Lights , camera, action as The Mighty Shakers take to the big screen for a rare appearance at noon.
To be honest, I’ve had a good look and yes, we have a few players out but we also should have the mercurial Mayor back from injury who’s a boost to any side.
But! I’m not going to suggest anything for an outpriced single – just something to maybe add as part of a bigger bet/acca.
Simple…we’ll score and they’ll score.
Beyond that forecast, I’m not sure what will happen but I will add the caveat that If (and it’s a big if) Pope and Vaughan start up front with Major supporting, then I’d fancy us for the win and team goals well worth a look so keep your eye out for team news around 11.00 am and will post if around ?
Pick…BTTS…8/15
Old favourites Darlo are back in action and visit Brackley in the NLN – I’ll be looking for goals here and Over 2.5 MGS pays 8/11.
Early double:
BURY…BTTS
DARLO OVER 2.5 MGS
PAYS.. 1.64/1
———————————————-
Little heads-up for anyone scratching around for a suitable game tomorrow…
NORTH FERRIBY UNITED VS. FOREST GREEN ROVERS:
In brief…Forest Green top the table at this early stage and are in sparkling form.
Granted, their recent wins haven’t been goal-fests but they scored 4 last time out and if you discount the previous 4 (no losses mind) they have hit 3-4-5-2-2-1-1-5 team goals.
Compare this to my ‘local’ side North Ferriby who are going to struggle big time in their first season at this level – they have just 1 win in 8 with the others being losses.
Mores to the point, of their last 7 home games, they have lost 5 – all of which they did without a single goal in reply.
FOREST GREEN OVER 1.5
TGS…4/9
FOREST GREEN OVER 2.5 TGS…6/4
———————————————-
FORFAR v TNS – not entirely sure about any disparity between the two so hard to guage but Over 3.5 MGS appeals at 11/8
Best of luck with all bets ?
Defo agree with your beloved Bury shout Hull. I’m on Bury both to score an a Bury win. Ive put it in a double with Plymouth to win and both to score in there game. The double pays 23.75/1 with bet 365.
Good luck ged…just waiting for teams bow then will post
With the doubts about their line-up I’m leaving out Bury although they tempt at a big price.
Off with the dug, the boy and his pal for our longest away trip in the league – Girvan v Clydebank.
Will check in tonight for those who won’t be at the game.
There look’s to be some value in Notts County today in the early kick off.
Notts County head into this weekend’s derby match at Mansfield targeting a fifth consecutive away league win. They have the joint-best away record in League Two with victories at Hartlepool, Crawley, Cheltenham and Exeter scoring 2+ in each of those wins.
Mansfield have struggled for form at home, winning only one from five, and failing to score in the last four.

Notts County to win either half @ 11/10 skybet
Notts County to score 2+ @ 21/10 coral

tipped consadole saporo to win v m hollyhock at 1.80 last night.

Looked at this game last night & was going for Sapporo over 1.5tgs at 11/10 but decided against it glad I did in end , see they scored after 5mins aswell would have thought should have got 2
Well done on your winner hampy
theyre about as solid at home as you can get jb. Looked a stroll. should defo have been another goal but a rare option for me i chose the win instead. cheers

Was looking around for a super single to have a bet on and I have to say I was surprised to see the pricing up of the England v Malta game.
England will win but with the bookies expecting England to win by 5 or 6 I just don’t buy that.
England traditionally like to play slow and build from the back. Two years ago against regular whipping boys San Marino it took 25 minutes to break the deadlock against San Marino and England could only manage 5 and 6 in the reverse.
The only other time England have hit five or more was again against San Marino in 2013 (0-8).
If you look at Malta they’re actually a stubborn bunch. Take out the 5-1 defeat to Scotland, where a red card at 2-1 did nothing to help their against column and a 6-0 drubbing to the more direct play of Czech Republic they aren’t the whipping boys that San Marino are.
In their last campaign they lost 2-0 away at frequent scorers Croatia (where they played with ten men for an hour) and a narrow 1-0 defeat in Italy suggests that as long as they keep it tight early doors they are likely to hold it together.
I’m not expecting Malta to score but I am expecting them to defend resolutely and frustrate the home fans.
It has the feel of a 3-0, possibly 4-0.
A few bets I like the look of are as follows:
Nap:
England win and under 4.5 goals
11/10
Betfair
Other Bets:
No goal before 17mins

Malta +1.5, +2.0

One bet for the Northern Ireland v San Marino game which stands out is Northern Ireland to score a penalty at 3/1. San Marino love to give a few penalties away, some games even two. The only surprise to me was in the 10-0 defeat to Croatia there were no penalties.
NB:
Northern Ireland to score a penalty
3/1
Sky Bet
Torn between Poland to win and Poland over 1.5 tgs this is purely based on the catastrophic failure to hold on to a 2 goal lead in there opener. Denmarks away from is pretty poor but they are usually a tough outfit to break down anyway so I’m gonna go against what my gut is saying and back the win at 13/10.
My goals account today is.

Peterbrough – Bursy BTTS √
So Flitcroft, deservedly, get’s the Manager of the Month award and let’s hope the curse doesn’t kick in today!
Line-ups out and, as mentioned, Vaughan, Pope AND Mayor start…that is an attacking line-up and my goals radar is on full whack!
Posh have’t won since the tail-end of August and are devoid of a home win since mid-August and that can’t be ignored!
It’s a shame we’re hitting this game with so many injuries and with Soares and Mellis both incurring suspensions triggered by 5 bookings apiece, it further depletes our ‘full strength’ starting 11.
But, that’s pretty much been the story of the season so far and we’ve had some great results with similar scenarios.
Add the trio mentioned above and I’m going to stick my neck on the line and go for the following:
OVER 1.5 BURY TGS…11/8
OVER 2.5 BURY TGS…5/1
BTTS & BURY WIN…9/2
Come on you Shakers ?

EASTLEIGH to WIN 6/5.
EASTLEIGH over 1.5 TGS 11/10.
*The Daggers travel with a depleted squad and EASTLEIGH on home turf are more than solid. Strongly fancy the home side today and to net twice!
LINCOLN to WIN 4/5.
LINCOLN over 1.5 TGS 4/5.
*Think the imps will be too strong for Bromley today! The home team ship goals and wouldn’t be surprised if Lincoln netted twice!
CHESTER to WIN 4/5.
*Torquay travel today with more than a depleted squad, there’ll be plenty of time for manager / bus driver team talk on the long drive up north! CHESTER are in a rich vein of form and believe this will continue today!
MACCLESFIELD to WIN 5/4.
MACCLESFIELD over 1.5 TGS 11/8.
MACCLESFIELD over 2.5 mgs 6/5.
*Boreham Wood are good travellers to date but today’s trip will be a testing 90 minutes . MACCLESFIELD currently are showing good consistency and are scoring regularly. The ‘wood ‘ like a goal on the road but also concede , the ‘silk men’ will look to add to the goals against tally!
FOREST GREEN h/t 4/5.
FOREST GREEN goal before 33 mins 5/6.
*Hoping the ‘villagers ‘ give it a go today, either way can’t see them getting much out of today’s game! FOREST like a first half goal or two, hoping trend continues!
Bloody awful input today! Least said the better ?

Well done Hull …
Afternoon All!
I’ve been bed-ridden with the flu for much of this week and it seems like I’ve missed out on a good few days – especially in the international games. Always good to see the winners flowing in. I’ve got a few selections today that, to be honest, have been hard to whittle down. Let’s see what we can do.
Scunthorpe v Northampton O1.5 Match Goals
St Albans v Gosport O1.5 Match Goals
Stalybridge O0.5 Team Goals
Treble @ 4/5 (Unibet)
–
Gainsborough
Halifax
O1.5 Team Goals Double @ 47/20 (Unibet)
I’m also chancing a little something different today. I really liked the look of Forest Green to shut out North Ferriby today, but it really isn’t a market I’d usually have a punt on. Instead, of boosted the odds a little for an interesting treble to keep an eye on. I expect it effectively depends on Forest Green, though.
Forest Green
England
Northern Ireland
Clean Sheet Treble @ 2/1 (Bet365)
Good luck!
Ey up Leroy – I’ve got something for your man-flu, Mrs Hull gave it to me.
?…it’s the world’s smallest violin.
How generous of you Hull, but my missus is equally as unsympathetic. I’ll add it to the collection. ;)
Fornaroli couldn’t grab a goal in New Zealand and a straight red for Sorensen for handling the ball out of his area wouldn’t have helped. Still looked dangerous and it won’t take long for him to open his account. Perth won their race to two goals in 26 minutes for a small loss though, and have just added a third as I type.
Not a fan of internationals but thoughts have gone the right way over the past couple of days. Like Greg I think England will easily dispatch Malta. Don’t take this the wrong way but if Scotland can score five in Malta, England can easily top that. Yesterdays thoughts were Portugal to grab a goal early and their goal time was 16:00 at 365. England’s today is 17:00 which is very much doable but I’m taking a different approach. Malta were undone in the second half by Scotland but not before a red card for the home nation. England will obviously dominate and general fatigue should favour us in the second half and that’s when I expect us to score the brunt of our goals.
The same goes for Northern Ireland who will host San Marino. Very much a balanced and strong defensive side as we saw in the Euro’s, but they should have a decent night in front of goal against one of the worst sides in international football. Obviously more of a punt but Norn Iron will obviously dominate here too, and you’d expect at least three goals from them. I’ll take my chances of two coming in the second half.

Cheers Harry ?
Eh? was that aimed at me?
You cant come on here putting winners up that you ‘didn’t get the chance to post’ and expect any credibility.
Sorry for the late post guys I tipped Leicester to win the league 5000/1 in August last year never got the chance to put it up here though :-)
I post my bets when I can, some winners and some real howlers (check them for yourself), I bet for fun and don’t look for any credit. No need for the smart arse replies, if you don’t like it don’t read it.
In case you’re having a dig at me for posting successful bets a day after the events here’s my bet details (I’ve deleted the stakes and the returns as that’s nobody’s business apart from mine’s). From my bet365 history:

Scott, it’s not that people don’t believe you, more that it is entirely pointless.
Which I understand tomt but I was merely pointing out that last night’s bets are funding today’s bets, wasn’t looking for any credit for placing small stakes interest bets. Some people just need to grow up and stop with the smart arse replies.
This is a place where we share our tips and thoughts etc not to come on the next day and say oooh like at me I won all this money but didn’t bother sharing the tip but you can be bothered sharing after you’ve won
FFS, I pointed out that last night’s bets are funding today’s bets and it’s my view that if I mention I had 2 winning bets then I should provide the details of them, not for credit or bragging rights but only to substantiate anything that I said.
It’s not a case of not being bothered to share it beforehand either it’s a case of me having a life outside of this forum and posting when I get a chance (such as today).
I’m checking out now and will think twice before I post anything in this forum again (before or after the event). Good luck with anything you’re betting.
No problem maybe I misunderstood just came across that way. Goof luck with your bets.
Some things you can’t legislate for…Bury went 1 up after 5 minutes but leading striker Tom Pope was then off injures 2 minutes later.
With no decent replacement available for Pope, it was slways going to be a tough ask for the other 83 minutes and so it proved.
3-1 to the Posh…on the bright side the BTTS came up and I did predict goals on the radar…shame they went the wrong way ?
Hi Paul , No welcome back nice early morning double
site has change with the times looks good
England
Over 10.5 team corners
8/11 (Bet365)
9 against Slovakia last time out, England are almost as prolific as Portugal when it comes to corners.
Looked at Portugal myself yesterday DT but couldn’t find a line early enough. Ended up with 18 I think. Southgate loves his wing play too. Funny though, 365 have got England corners priced up @ 8/11 and match corners at 11.5 for the same price. Numpties.
Time of first corner before 8:00 looks a good but it might be a sweat.
Over 2.5 match goals double pays 2.06/1
Luton vs Crewe
Colchester vs Newport
England over 10.5 corners & over 4.5 goal double returns 2/1
Is that too risky or what do people think
DC – trouble is with corner bets in high scoring games, often teams are too busy scoring than racking up corners as they might i a tighter game.
Not a hard and fast rule mind – good luck.
I’m just loving the Malta 1 corner bet at 4/9 ?
Don’t normally do corners but England are good foluck then was actually more concerned about the goals cant decide whether England will struggle although they shouldn’t or will run riot as defo have potential too
Just never know it’s normally a struggle but it is Malta but dying that they don’t get hammered as much as u would think
ENGLAND v MALTA:
Finding it hard to get excited about this one – let down one (??) too many times by the perennially disapointing England team.
Usual rules apply:
England start with a bang and look impressive whilst dominating play for 20 minutes…game then fizzles out like a wet fart and everyone goes home depressed.
OK, so fair enough this is Malta so maybe a bit more of the better play and a few more goals but still the same old same old.
I refuse to stake anything substantial on the National side so low stakes apply but how’s about this (follows the strong start/poor ending theory!)
ENGLAND OVER 1.5 FHG + MALTA OVER 0.5 TEAM CORNERS…1.08/1
Enjoy the game ?
I think this is a genuine pricing error but it is legit as I have just had it
Coral have BTTS “No” for Netherlands U19 v San Marino U19 at 12/5 currently which is absolutely crazy
Only word of caution is I don’t think you’ll get away with too big a stake, I had to try about 5 or 6 times before they accepted mine. One of those “referring it to our traders” jobs.
I’d probably hurry up too as surely this is the result of someone somewhere screwing up!

Great going, Hullshaker. I make that four winners so far!

I’d say that’s a fairly accurate forecast of the game!
**WON**
Some day from you today, Hull. Top stuff!
Mine wasn’t too bad either
Shaker, and ingerland are still a shambles
Michael mifsud has scored 40 goals in 120 games for Malta and all were against teams ranked higher.
A shoe in to score against the weak minded England shambles.
OK a bit tongue in cheek, I reckon 2-0 for England, 3 at the most.
max points & a clean sheet – a perfect start to the campaign!
Lol, I love the irony there.

To be fair mate it would’ve been great but I put up some specific bets after learning team news for our early KO and they lost so some of the gloss definitely scuffed!

Milik…Poland 11/2(single)
Hamsik…Slovakia 7/1
Muller…Germany 10/3
Depending on line up Griffiths… Scotland 15/4

Alli won, Walcott + Corners Lost
Snodgrass ATGS 7/4
Like I said last time Mr F after Slovakia game.. we should think twice before getting on England again! 2-0 win feels like a draw against Malta on a night when Romania and Montenegro scored 5 goals against decent oppositions
Listened to the England game on way home from my match and it was poor.
I’m sorry but you have to beat Malta by more than 2-0 at home.
Southgate picked the wrong team in my opinion.
Do you get less points then if you only beat them 2-0,strange comment
The comment was based on the result losing me money. Maybe that will explain it.
Any England fan happy with that is easily pleased.
Kinger. If ur happy with a 2-0 that is very odd. But i guess ur just admiting that England are a very poor side. My Sunday league side could have beat then 2-0.
I watched Bankies score 4 today – and I reckon we could have had as many against Malta.
They are poor, but I’d be more worried if we let Malta score
Or Lithuania
Decent opposition!!!!!!!!

2 out of 2.
Polska bialo cierwoni! Lewandowski!!! Get in.
Must admit I was expecting a bit more resilience from the Dane’s but Poland have been extremely effective and look dangerous on the break with some lighting quick winger’s . Who is the guy on the left everything good goes through him.
I reakon they are good for another. What do you think? @andrzejstarba
Philwindy its grosicki. He is class and I rate him highly. We missed him against Kazakhstan. We do play some lovely football and were a bit lucky with the penalty. We couldnt kill the game off after scoring 2 against Kazakhstan so may be looking for more goals in the second half to kill the game.
Poland have got armenia next who I think we can easily score 3 plis against. A game to look out for.
From what I have seen I will be on that!
That Scottish crowd needs its nerves settled with a goal, sharpish.
theres the sevilla b 2nd dc ;)
Yep cheers crane
Poland over 1.5tgs in anaw for me
Crane
Same again tomorrow on lugo btts & overs
And there it is. A great counter attack. And one for the Dane’s . What happened there????
Cmon Slovakia ??
1 goal for a full house
This is what I meant. 3-2 poland. We cant hold onto a decent lead. Squeaky bum time for me now!
At least you can take a lead.
Fair enough mr f, but we needed that 3 points. Its concerning we have conceded 4 goals in 2 games, but we have 4 points in total so its not bad at all.
Well done to all winners today.
Poland over 1.5tgs 6/5 **WON**
Germany over 2.5mgs
Slovakia to score
Double tad over evens **LOST**
Slovakia failed to score, why did I pick them, doh
Scunthorpe v Northampton O1.5 Match Goals, St Albans v Gosport O1.5 Match Goals, Stalybridge O0.5 Team Goals

Gainsborough, Halifax
O1.5 Team Goals Double @ 47/20 (Unibet) ///WIN///
Forest Green, England, Northern Ireland
Clean Sheet Treble @ 2/1 (Bet365) ///WIN///
Perhaps surprisingly it’s the longer odds bets that came in today. Plenty of chance to cover on San Marino to score this evening but I decided to let it ride. Just a Stalybridge goal from a full house but a good days work nonetheless. Well done to all winners – and a special well done if you managed to avoid backing England. Dreary stuff.
Good stuff Leroy ?
