SIMONA HALEP will look to end her Maria Sharaprova jinx by taking advantage of the world No.4’s lack of recent action when the pair clash at the WTA Finals today.
Halep has lost all five previous meetings but is 5-6 favourite (Boylesports) to break that duck against an opponent who has played just two matches since Wimbledon.
Both players won their opener this week and Sharapova is 17-14 at Marathonbet for victory while over 2.5 sets – which has landed in their last three meetings – is 7-5 at Betway.
In the day’s other match Agnieszka Radwanska is 3-10 favourite at Stan James against US Open champ Flavia Pennetta, the 31-10 underdog at Marathonbet.
At the Swiss Indoors Rafa Nadal was lucky to scrape past Lukas Rosol yesterday and now home hero Roger Federer begins his title bid against Mikhail Kukushkin while the likes of Richard Gasquet and John Isner are also in action.
The NBA season gets under way tonight with three matches including Clevelad Cavs – who top the title betting at 14-5 with Sportingbet – against Chicago Bulls followed by reigning champs Golden State Warriors versus New Orleans Pelicans.
Elsewhere there’s snooker and ice hockey among the sporting highlights so post your tips and chat here and good luck with your bets.
