CAROLINA PANTHERS have made their best-ever start to a season and aim to make it seven straight wins when they host Indianapolis Colts in the Monday night NFL showdown.
Colts have struggled so far and coach Chuck Pagano is reportedly at risk of the axe with his side suffering back-to-back defeats to take their record to 3-4.
They are 5-2 at Betfred to halt their losing streak with a much-needed win while Panthers are 2-5 at Betfair for victory and 4-5 at Skybet to be winning at half-time and full-time.

I tipped MVG to win the tournament at 2/1 and I make no apologies for tipping him, as I am a MVG guy, and I think he is the guy to beat.
That was one of 8 tips I posted on the darts which yielded 6 winners, which I think is 75% success rate. The tips were all back able to level stakes. The outright tip was 2/1 and there was 4/6, 8/11, 1/1, 11/10 and 6/5. Roll on the slam and the worlds, the sports thread the home of the winners :D
Rodgers is taking a beat down by this Denver D. Two 6-0 teams on primetime and it has been a total mismatch.
Rodgers 75yds passing with 5mins to go, Manning the old gun slinger as thrown for over 340yds. Gb had no running game, compared to Hillman and CJ. Denver going nicely under the radar. Its tough to go unbeaten in the NFL.
I would love Denver stay unbeaten till December, then we get the two old foes battling it out one more time, Denver v Pats, forget the teams, it would be Manning v Brady, perhaps one last time, it would be one for ages!

Wasn’t a great week but could have been a lot worse. If the Falcons hadn’t turned the ball over quite as much I’m sure they wouldn’t have needed overtime but that’s no excuse. Small margins the winner at the end of the day. Pretty much nailed both prop write ups so they were worth the effort. If only I had the courage to back against my Packers. NEVER! Once more failed to get much going on offense with Thomas absolutely destroying our corners as expected. Broncos with no less than 500 totals yards of offense against us. That’s two game weeks in a row a team has spanked our defense and expect the same again from Jonathan Stewart on the ground in Carolina next week.
No need to boast how good or bad the week has been, my numbers are there for all to see ;)
The Monday game sees the 2015 turnover machine Andrew Luck come to the undefeated Panthers. Originally I fancied Stewarts rushing yards but Center Ryan Kalil is doubtful and have they a few other injuries on their offensive line. You’d think the Panthers should win but the fact still remains that no matter how much he turns the ball over, Luck is an excellent QB and still has the weapons to cause and upset. Will have a good look in the afternoon and see if anything really takes my fancy in this one. Well done to all the winners.

Incredibly frustrating night of NFL. Chargers looked reasonably good on the night but suffered 6 injuries in the first quarter alone! 14 players had to leave the field in total, absolute mayhem. It’s another game they should have won but ultimately lost as did my NAP. My nb was beaten when Keenan Allen left the game in the 2nd quarter after an amazing TD catch. My 7fold acca was beaten by a Falcons defeat. All in all a very frustrating night.
A good win last night with Spurs covering the -5 spread, taking my total for the season up to 6-4.

OUTRIGHT EUROLEAGUE CHAMPIONS
As ever Ive been keeping a close eye on the basketball euroleague. Last season I tipped my team Real Madrid to do the buisness and they duely delivered. This season I’m not so convinced. It would take a fool to back against the most sucessful eurobball team but in history, but at 9/5 and their not so convincing start to the season I’m obliged to look elsewhere for probable victors. I’m going to rule out the two other favourites, Barcelona & Fenerbahce. They just don’t look anywhere close to championship material yet. This leads me to the 2013 champions Olympiakos. They are deemed to be the outsiders by the bookies, available to back at betting odds as large as 10/1 with Unibet, but I think this offers a great opportunity to grab some value. The Greeks only managed to finish third in Group F with a 10-4 record, but they topped their initial group with eight wins from 10 and they ground out a 3-1 aggregate triumph over the arguably more talented Barcelona side in the quarters.
Interestingly, Olympiakos never scored more than 76 points in their four quarter final matches against Barca, and this has given the impression that they lack the attacking nous to overcome sides. But knowing how to win is more important than putting on a show, and the Greeks have developed tactics that can effectively nullify sides which look better on paper, while cultivating enough openings to edge victories. They are like a comparitable Grizzlies side in the NBA last season. It might not be quite good enough to overcome Real Madrid, but at betting odds of 10/1 I have to make Olympiakos my main betting tip for outright Euroleague glory this year as it has value written all over it. They might not play the prettiest basketball, but if things go their way, they could battle their way to the championship.

Having a foray into new sports so looking at the NBA. Still getting used to the terminology and enjoying working out what huggybear’s post means above! Have started by following Jordan’s bet. Found markets on skybet slightly different now from what was posted – no -1.5 for Warriors so went -2. Is this like AH? Void if a draw? Also total for Cavaliers has gone up to O99.5 so took that and will hope for the best!
Mate all it means boards refers to rebounds , so possession from a missed shot.
and regarding points , in the case of a draw they play an extra 5 mins overtime and this still gets included with the bet , example you back cavs -2 and game ends 96 – 96 , after ot score ends 108 – 104 ( 4 point game covers your -2 then its a winner !! )
p.s this is a long term strategy , no better place to start that Jordan , stick with the guys and you`ll end in profit.

Michael the Warriors -1.5 was suspended about five minutes after my post and the Cavs points have been suspended in the last hour or so. I took the 5/7 too from 365, but I had it in a double with the Cavs -5.5 so that bumped the double up to something like 2.2/1… Cavs were only -5.5 against the 76ers which was pretty much a no brainer to me tbh!
