I DIDN'T do too much on Sunday but anything I looked at lacked goals – the both to score treble, Napoli and Gonzalo Higuain.
My shortlist was fairly big and while some won and some lost I confidently napped Napoli at injury-hit Genoa but the Italian title challengers and their star striker went to sleep in front of goal.
So not the best start to the month but there's no stopping Greg Browning who posted a superb nap with over 2.5 goals at Everton and was unlucky with his two corner tips on the Hibs-Rangers game.
Building up to a busy midweek we have Spurs v Aston Villa in the Premier League tonight and Chievo v Sampdoria and Palermo v Empoli in Serie A. It's difficult to see past on-form Spurs against a Villa side who have suffered six defeats in a row but are set to name Remi Garde as boss.
Villa won at White Hart Lane last season but lost three in a row to nil and by at least two goals before that.
Spurs will be super confident after battering Bournemouth 5-1 last time out and Harry Kane will be looking to go on a goals run after hitting a hat-trick. Spurs are no bigger than 4-9 to win at bet365 while Kane is 10-11 to score and 10-3 at bet365 and William Hill to net first.
Villa have conceded eight in four games so another bet to consider is over 1.5 Spurs goals at 8-15 with bet365, Ladbrokes and William Hill.
The Italian games are tough to call but Palermo could edge out Empoli while all but one of Sampdoria's points have come at home so I'd look at Chievo or possibly Chievo to score 2+.
And in Portugal stats suggest goals at Pacos v Guimaraes with the last five playings of the game seeing over 2.5 goals and both to score. Pacos could be worth backing to win at 11-10 against a side who have lost and drawn one under new boss Sergio Conceicao.
Those are the main matches but there are a lot of others to consider in lesser or lower league throughout the continent and there is also a Scottish Cup tie between Highland League leaders Cove Rangers, 13 wins out of 13 and 36 goals, at second-bottom Fort William with two wins in 14 and 45 goals conceded.
As a guide Cove have netted 53 in their last 10 meetings with Fort William and 28 on their last five visits to the side situated in the shadow of Ben Nevis. Only once in 13 meetings have Cove scored fewer than four and the last seven meetings have totalled 45 goals.
Fort's form has been a bit better this season but they've still conceded 33 in their last eight Highland League outings so going by form and stats I have to recommend over 3.5 Cover goals at 4-5 with Paddy Power and over 4.5 match goals at 15-8 with Paddy Power and Betfred.
Team news reports a full-strength Cove side and three or four missing for Fort. I don't know enough about the Highland League to say if these are key men but the home side don't have a big squad.
I'm putting up both bets as Super Singles based on the stats as well as 1pt on over 5.5 match goals. That might seem like putting a lot of eggs in one basket but if the first comes up it will be break even if the other two lose – so it's one I've thought about carefully.
One other single I'm adding is Spurs to win and Kane to score – the wincast pays 7-4 at 10bet and is worth one point.
I know it's a quiet night but having done a lot of research this morning I'm adding a both to score treble starting with Lens v Nancy. Twelve of the last 14 meetings have gone over 2.5 goals and Lens last three have been both to score and over 2.5.
Add Hyde v Skelmersdale in the FA Trophy replay. It was 3-3 in the original tie and while Hyde are a shade of odds on to beat their Premier League rivals the best bet could be goals with 15 in Hyde's last three games and 26 in Skelmersdale's last five.
Complete the treble with Wacker Innsbruck v Austria Salzburg. This is a big derby taking place in Innsbruck for the first time in 10 years and there seems to be a buzz about the game.
It's top v second bottom so the home men should win but they've lost their last two so I'm focusing on goals. When they met in Salzburg in August Wacker won 4-3 and the away side's last seven matches have featured 29 goals including 5-1 defeats to St Polten and in the cup to Rapid Vienna.

My rolling 0vers 0.5 tmgs bet rolls on. Fiorentino delivered the goods with ease, as did the everton match later.
I set up a couple of in plays @ 1/10 and 1/14 ( bologna )
and finally some several hours after I’d planned, I got some sleep, both my bets delivered.
I’ve banked another £5 and then another £10 as I eased past the £150 mark.
I’m now upto £169 and managed to hold out for a few mins to punt on the Portland Timbers/Vancouver game for another 1/12. Pre-match stats and form suggests there should be a few goals in the match but we’re 10 mins shy of halftime and the in-play stats are 1 shot each on target and 3 each off target. 1-2 on corners so its possibly looking like my most iffy game so far.
If the game picks up and I get that goal, the new balance should be around £189.
If it goes to plan, I shall take a look at the other MLS game later on if time is on my side and see if I can waltz past the £200 mark. If I manage it, i’ll bank another £10.
I’ll keep you posted. In the meantime if anyone has any thoughts on this game OR the upcoming MLS game, I’d appreciate your feedback.
A deeper look at the stats suggest 40% or so of portlands goals come in the last 15 mins. Time will tell.

Aston Villa won 1-0 on their last trip to Spurs last April, but had lost on their previous four, 3-0, 2-0, 2-0 and 2-1. Tottenham put five past Bournemouth last time out and recently scored four against Man City at the Lane.

I have to agree with Mr. Fixit, Harry Kane will be even hungrier for goals. Once the ball starts hitting the back of the net scoring can become a habit. Just look at Jamie Vardy. His confidence is sky high and instead of hoping to score he now expects to.
I wonder what the odds would have been if you had backed Vardy to score in the first game that he did and then put the winnings onto every match until last Saturday. For any time scorer. I wouldn’t have the bottle to keep it running mind you.

Afternoon all, just wanted to pitch an idea. It’s a betting angle which I haven’t seen covered in much detail, however ive began to trial it.
It is within the unders market which I know is not to everyones taste. However, I have always liked to back unders on occasion. Lately I have taken it one step further, Btts No/Under 2.5. Of four games I paper trialed yesterday, three won. The reason I highlight this market as I feel there is value, more than standard unders.
The reason I believe this is because there is a big difference between prices for u2.5 and the addition of u2.5/btts no. The only extra risk is the 1-1 scoreline now beats your bet.
e.g Palermo v Empoli is on my unders radar tonight. U2.5 offers 1.65 whereas the addition of both teams not to score raises to 2.10.
I followed the Bulgarian game earlier Montana v Levski – u2.5 @1.57 u2.5/no @1.90. From early research 1.90 generally seems the lowest point which is good if a a rate of 55-60% can be acheived. This is not a system but just a market I feel hasnt been discussed much anywhere.

GillsRob-I have looked at that market on a lot of occasions but never backed it. I believe it is very similar to the “win to nil” market so you may want to check prices for that bet as well. The only distinction between the market that you put up is that it does not matter what team wins as long as the other one does not score and goals are kept under the goal line. It adds risk so you will be looking for a team that does not score that many and is equally defensive. Had you of trialed this under George Graham’s Arsenal you would have been laughing all the way. Spurs might be one to watch in this market and I remember someone posting about a Russian team that always won 1-0 or 2-0. GL

THFourteen – don’t worry I wouldn’t use one weekend in isolation. I’m only looking at games thst have unders patterns same as of I were looking for overs. Theory is, that if a game has prominent unders stats then taking a risk by eliminating the 1-1 scoreline is worth the extra value.

What I will say is that although what Mr F said regarding probability is correct there are just some people that can defy the flaming odds. Almost every firm allows a scorer and team to win but some call it wincast, others scorecast.
For those confused:
“A Wincast requires you to select a player to score anytime and their team to win in a double. Bets will be settled at the combined odds advertised or displayed on our coupon. The Wincast price will be different from the accumulator price for the two outcomes.”

I have decided that I will be trailing a different way of betting for a while. I have noticed that often bookies price favourites up too short, and there is value in the plus Asian handicap or double chance. Have a look at Atletico Madrid, bayern on Friday, Chelsea Saturday, man United, Sunday Feyenoord and napoli but to name a few. Obviously form and h2h needs to be researched but I think there is value to be found in draws and underdogs if you pick the right ones.
So, to start of with I am picking 2 for the champions league.
Borussia monchaglabach are quite strong at home and I reckon Juve should not be favourites. Juve drew with Borussia 0-0 at home, so Borussia double chance at 7/10 looks good.
Psg are way overpriced. They were the better team when they played real Madrid at home and it was a draw again. Psg double chance at 2.37 or 11/8 looks good. These are 2 strong teams and any result could be on the plate but a draw is plausible and the odds offered on psg double chance covering 2/3 of possible outcomes looks good value.
Both prices have been shortened to 6/10 and 11/10 respectively.

In my experience most firms will void if you ask them to – it’s not much different now than cashing out.
Voiding is fine but if the bet goes on to win you wouldn’t have wanted it voided.

Can we drop the puntersman stuff? Anybody should be clever enough to know these long shots are highly unlikely to win and to say you can win as much as 75% on them is a complete farce. Be all means put them up, but don’t go on like its a banker. Even odds on shots are hard enough to win. Any serious punter will tell you that.

Dear oh dear, I thought the pantomime season isn’t due for another month or so! :)
A few days ago, nobody had heard of the guy, like all of us he has come on here in good faith and posted his tips!
I have full belief that he is genuine in his posts and is genuine in what he has won in the past! People want that big win and as I’ve always said he’ll be a welcome addition to the site.
Too many people though think that because of previous wins he’s going to post regular 50/1 winners! as Mr F has always said, he’ll do well to post another 50/1 winner this year! That’s not a criticism of the man, that’s just the stark reality of 50/1 accumulators!
Hopefully he’ll continue to contribute but threatening to stop posting after only being on here a few days is a bit over the top! Like many, I’d be disappointment if he chose to stop posting because of some of the comments, I’m more concerned with the number of people who see Puntersman as the saviour, begging a man who has only been contribuirng for a few days to stay!

Cuenca start the game as favourites but at first glance both teams look pretty poor form-wise.
However, look a little deeper and we see the home side have actually had only 3 defeats since August- those to table toppers LDU (twice) and second placed Emelec.
River Plate aren’t storming the division, but again, on closer inspection we can see that they do invariably score in most games.
It’s not a bet I’m hugely confident on but BTTS sits at 21/20 (Coral) and could be worth a go.
