DESMOND'S focusing on the last day of the season in the Scottish lower leagues.
He says: “It's all to play for at the bottom of the
Scottish Championship. Raith know they need a win to stand any chance of avoiding the relegation play-offs.
“They will of course need St Mirren to lose at champions Hibs and I like
Ladbrokes' offer of 10-11 on them to score 2+ goals here.
“With 7 goals scored in their last 4 home games they should fancy their chances here against a doomed Ayr side conceding 9 goals in their last 3 away games.
“Next up are promoted Portsmouth at home to a safe
Cheltenham. Pompey will be delighted to finally get out of League Two and who knows if results go their way could end up as champions.
“With 12 goals scored in their last 5 home games
Ladbrokes offer 1-2 on them scoring 2+ goals against a Cheltenham side conceding 12 goals in their last 5 away games. Going for a straight 3pts double that pays 7-4.
“Other goals bets I like the look of on Saturday are a
btts double of Stenhousemuir v Brechin and Montrose v Clyde, one point at 5-4 and an over 2.5 goals treble of Hibs, Forfar and Stirling.”

Come on Portsmouth, let’s get the double!!
Would I be right in saying that Portsmouth did us on the first weekend of the League 2 season for a 22 double?
I hope we’re not going to finish as we started?
There’s the goal.
Well done Desmond!!
Can’t beat a good deflection for a goal.
