I KEPT it pretty simple on Sunday and focused on the leagues and the teams I know best.
That policy paid dividends with a 2pts Super Single winner and 3pts Top Treble success – the latter wiping out the advised accas losses.
Atletico Madrid at evens landed the SS and the TT won thanks to Juventus, Inter Milan and Lyon by an aggregate of 10-1. In fact all four picks won by at least two and that would have been a fab fourfold.
I also suggested Antoine Griezmann to score first for Atletico and my £25 free bet on the Ladbrokes Moneyback Acca feature produced a £192.86 winner thanks to my Top Treble plus Barcelona and Bilbao.
It was a good day all round on the site with Greg's nap Young Boys winning at 4-5 and Liverpool's late comeback bringing up his over 2.5 goals tip. I'm not sure how his Hibs corner bets fared.
And Jordan had a cracking day as he smashed it on the MLS including Seb Giovinco to score. His 5pts tip for Athletic Bilbao to score 2+ also came in.
Monday's much quieter and I won't be risking a lot ahead of a busy week that includes Champions League second-leg ties and another full card of English Championship games.
Highest-profile game is Espanyol v Rayo Vallecano and there should be goals. Rayo have netted 16 in their last eight of which five have been 2-2 draws. The other two were a 5-1 defeat to Barcelona and 3-0 win over Celta Vigo.
Four of Espanyol's last six have gone over 2.5 goals and the last four playings of this one have seen both score with three going over 3.5 goals. So all the stats suggest btts, over 2.5 and possibly over 2.5 goals. Rayo have scored six on those four visits to Espanyol and it's 15-8 at boylesports for them to score over 1.5 goals and 2-5 to net one or more.
Espanyol's 3-0 defeat to Real Betis last week was put down partly to a sickness bug hitting the squad but tonight they don't have any major players out.
Rayo are without banned midfielder Manuel Iturra and central defender Diego Llorente who were both sent off against Barca while left-back Razvan Rat, midfielders Patrick Ebert and Pablo Hernandez and striker Miku are still injured.
I doubt if Rayo can win this game against a full-strength Espanyol but I'm sticking with goals and going for a double – over 2.5 goals in this one and Besiktas to beat Eskhisehirspor at home in the Turkish League.
Besiktas has suffered back-to-back defeats to Galatasaray in the league and Konyaspor in the cup so will be keen to get back on track against the basement boys.
It's the best attack against the worst defence but it's 49 scored in 22 for Besiktas and 46 in 23 conceded for their opponents so neither figure is remarkable.
For that reason I'm choosing Besiktas to win rather than score 2+ at a similar price while Besiktas -1 tempts at 5-6 with Paddy Power.
In Portugal Rio Ave face Estoril and again both teams to score is a possibility although the home men should edge it and in Serie B Cesena should beat Salernitana.
Other lower-league matches include Jong PSV v Fortuna Sittard, Clermont Foot v Metz and Freiburg v RB Leipzig.
Clermont and Metz are tied on 44 points but Clermont are in better form and have won eight of their last 10 home matches. Freiburg v RB looks too close to call between two promotion contenders while for Jong PSV team news is usual crucial although four of the five meetings between the sides have seen both score.

Easiest thing to do is bet on a 50/50 I.e btts and btnts both bet count towards you turnover but you wont lose any money or a small amout, same with a casino turnover I just backed red and black (hoping zero didn’t come in) until I’d reached my turnover) it’s probably against the rules of the t and conditions but both times I did it i was ok hope this is helpful…

Yeah, I did read that but wasn’t sure if they were key players or not? I’ve watched Espanyol on a couple of occasions this season, most recently against Sociedad and they look awful, maybe I’ve caught them on a couple of off days though. Rayo are no world beaters but are at least scoring goals, maybe a draw is the call. I’ll be on 2-2 for small stakes anyway but was looking for something for slightly bigger stakes…
Having checked, the two bans don’t put me off too much, Iturra has only started 2 games and Llorente is a CB and they should have cover. Certainly won’t affect any scoring bets if you were thinking 2+ as mentioned above.

Yeah I know, it was money I could afford to lose. It’s just that I had built it up over quite a long period of time from very little then risked it all stupidly which annoyed me. The bills were paid, just highlighting the dangers of complacency after being very vigilant and doing pretty OK.
I got out of jail a bit thanks to Besiktas, a loss (not massive) was incurred overall in last couple of days but lesson learned and back to basics. Getting cocky is a very easy way to my downfall. Bank reduced and back to slow and steady it is.
