Mar 28: Jordan’s Football Tips

Jordans_FootballTips

JORDAN has another A-League tip for Monday and hopes to add more selections later.

He says: Perth got their goals up for me eventually and then the England U21 corners came in so it was a good Saturday

With only two games to go in the A-League regular season there are still five teams who can be given the first-round byes in the playoffs. And we thought the Premier League was entertaining?

Melbourne City are only 3 points away from going top again and can leapfrog 3 teams in the process. That shows just how tight this league is. The Phoenix have only pride to play for in what hasn’t been a great season for the Kiwi team.

City have only failed to score at home once this season in 12 home games and have scored twice or more in 11 of the 12. The Phoenix are the second worst side away from home and have conceded 2 or more in 8 of their last 10 away from home.

Melbourne know what they need to do and with the Phoenix basically playing for wages City should win and could score plenty here. They have scored a combined total of 8 goals already at home to the Phoenix this season the the league and cup.

A bit like the Victory’s Berisha whenever I seem to back Bruno Fornaroli he does everything but score. Fast forward to his next game and he’ll score a hat-trick when I haven’t tipped him. It’s a good job for this game as he’s only 8-13 at best to net so way too short as a single.

Harry Novillo has scored 3 goals in the 2 home games against Phoenix this season and holds the most value at 7-5 with Ladbrokes. Captain and possible Player of the Year candidate Aaron Mooy will not be available for City due to international duty.

His 11 goals and 20 assists will be a big loss for Melbourne but they should still have too much firepower despite not having their key player involved. With Mooy out, Fornaroli will be the likely penalty taker and also had a free-kick that hit the bar last week which was converted on the rebound to make it 3-1.

Australia A-League – 9.30am

Bruno Fornaroli to score/Melbourne win

(7-5, Paddy Power) – 1 point WIN

Looking over the English card it looks tough and the weather is bad so for now my only other tip is for tomorrow morning.

Argentina Primera (1am- Tuesday)

Huracan Over 1.5 Team Goals

(33-20, Marathon Bet) – 1 point

March Totals

Bets 62
Points Staked 114.11
Points Returned 141.71
Profit/Loss +28.6

The selection above will be my only bet today. However I am taking one for tomorrow morning now from Argentina as its the only real value I can see in the next 24 hours. Looking over the English card it looks very tough and the weather isn’t supposed to be great so, so for now its the Australia tip above and then this

    Argentina Primera – 1:00AM (Tuesday)

    Huracan Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 33/20 @ Marathon Bet – 1 point

Fantastic tipping as always Jordan. Joined Paddy Power last night to follow you on the wincast. Melbourne play Perth next week I see. Be tough to choose between what are now (thanks to you) my 2 favourite Australian teams. Thank you.

Jordan, great tips again and for once I was on having left my betting bank virtually untouched over the last few days.

Jordan, I’m sure you’ll find something else. What about the B League?

            Very good Mr F…..

The MLS is very similar to the A-League but the first few opening fixtures have gone well against the grain, so hoping it settles down soon.

Nice one again Jordan. What were you thinking as he missed the penalty though! I was on it, just the win single but put 10pts on so a nice start to the day there.

    Cheers

Haha, I was about to shout at the telly as I had them -1 on another line then he pops in the rebound so I shut up and sat back down :)
