Out again tomorrow till 7ish but i thought i would ask this now. In my dual forecast i have Italy/Belgium to qualify. There first match is them going head to head which i don’t really like because if one wins then it would clearly be harder for the loosing team to qualify especially if either Sweden vs Ireland get a win.

croatia vs turkey…This match looks a tough one to call given the respective teams history comparison but history comparison non withstanding i think that croatia are a class of their opposition especially at the central at the park where they boost the likes of luka modric ivan perisic ivan rakitic brozovic and a competent goal scorers in mario mandzukic nikola kalinic and duje cop(all top scorers with their clubs).I therefore expect the scorers to be well serviced by the excellent midfield.

I’m fairly confident Poland and Germany will win their respective matches, but Poland are susceptible to conceding having conceded in 7 of their 10 EC qualification matches. Germany have conceded 7 goals in their last 4 matches which included 3 to Slovakia and 3 to England. I’m not really looking too much into that seeing as they were friendlies but like the cover of draw no bet. The Croatia game I think is a little harder to predict and wouldn’t be surprised with the draw, but I like Croatia and on their day are a cracking team so added them into the mix too – can see both teams scoring in that game.
Also, a shrapnel (spare change sitting in one of my accounts) on all 3 games today to see both teams to score. This has happened in 3 of the 4 opening matches so far.

Bonjour a few sore heads back at home this morning I am guessing. A dominant display by us let down by the fact we couldn’t get that second goal and then got suckered at the death. Some thoughts on my country Poland
Yes we always seem to play poor in major tournaments but I think this is the best team we have had since the 70s and 80s. We have some world class players in some of the top leagues and the Polish league has become a bit more competitive with more cash going in.
I think we will qualify from the group hopefully in second place and possibly get to the quarters if we perform.
We need a perform today and should win but it will be tight.

Ukraine were superb in the first half and were disappointing in the second half.
Teams all still finding their way but generally a good game. Ukraine’s goal attempt couldn’t be any closer but superb defending to keep the ball out by millimetres!
You know what game i am watching haha and I hate it when teams play like that, play like you did in the first half not pass it back to the keeper about 50 times Germany. Boring zzzzzzzzzzzz
