The Ayrshire men can be pleased with how their cup campaign has gone. A terrific win last week against SPL Hamilton and they were unlucky to lose a 90th-minute goal away to St Mirren during the week. This is much easier and I’m expecting them to make light work of an Edinburgh side who were easily beaten 3-0 at home to Livingston during the week.
It’s been a terrible start got Dundee who were embarrassed by East Fife in their opener. Somehow Dundee have managed to retain Kane Hemmings and Greg Stewart and should be too good for a Dumbarton side who have already been defeated by East fife and Forfar, the latter on penalties after a 2-2 draw.
