I PUT up three Super Singles on Wednesday with one winner, one loser and a third one that was added late and lost although it could have been covered.
The winner was the one I was most confident about as Dinamo Zagreb -1 came up at Fola Esch but Celtic let me down by conceding early to Stjarnan.
They went on to win convincingly but a sloppily conceded goal beat my win to nil tip. The third SS was added when QPR's teamline revealed a strong starting line-up against Dundee United. I tipped a Rangers win and backed Rangers -1 but they settled for a 2-1 success at Barnet.
We move from the Champions League qualifiers to the Europa League matches and there are a lot to look at. I've considered as many as possible, including Aberdeen v Rijeka, Astra v Inverness and Birkirkara v West Ham and have decided not to go with anything silly.
Aberdeen did all the hard work in Croatia last week and should cruise through to the next round after winning 3-0. Betting on tonight's game is difficult because the Dons just need to keep it tight and don't do anything silly and under 2.5 goals could be the call with the home likely to defend what they have.
Inverness are up against as they travel to Romania 1-0 down. John Hughes's men put up a decent fight in their Euro debut but his side are weaker than last season and could struggle for goals.
Astra made the group stage last season and have enough European experience to get the job done but it's worrying that they lost 5-1 to Targu at the weekend without resting players. The Romanians should win but look a bit short at a best 8-15 with William Hill.
The Super Single is West Ham to win away to the Maltese Cup winners and Rosenborg to beat Reykjavik at home. West Ham needed a 90th-minute strike to beat Birkirkara at home and it was a struggle to break through a side that parked a big bus.
There should be more chances for Slaven Bilic's side on the road and while a Euro run is not his priority he has named a strong squad and the likes of Mauro Zarate, Modibo Maiga, Mark Noble, Kevin Nolan and Adrian are expected to start.
Anything but a victory would be embarrassing for the Hammers and English football and a best price of 4-11 looks fair.
Other shortish-priced sides who should win include Copenhagen at Welsh team Newtown, Slovan Bratislava at UCD, Odd at home to Shamrock and Zilina against Dacia.
But for a simple Super Single I'm adding Rosenborg who have cancelled this weekend's league match to concentrate on the Europa League and are expected to name a full-strength side. They lead 1-0 from the away leg and the Danish league leaders, unbeaten at home, should add to their tall.
The double pays no more than 4-5 at unibet but if it comes I'll be happy with that. If it doesn't it will leave me with a 10pt profit for July with a week to go and I'll be making sure that doesn't descend into a loss.
For the Top Treble that could really do with a win I'm on Wolfsberger to add to their 1-0 lead at home to Shakhtyor, Zilina to do likewise when they entertain Dacia and Odd to add to the two goals they netted in Dublin.
I've also put up a both to score treble and have taken three matches where both netted in the first leg.

I was at the QPR – United match, Mr F, and I can assure you that QPR didn’t settle for a one goal win. United had 60% of possession in the first half and QPR only scored through a poor offside decision and a keeping error.

Mattr, I have followed your system bets with a watching brief only as, in my opinion, short priced trebles and upwards will not be profitable in the long-term. I am greatful for your research and have won a few quid in-play on first half goals and goal line bets on team you have ifentified. Best advice I can give is select your strongest bet from your shortlist and back overs on the first half goal line and full time goal line. That way your are only relying on one goal-fest rather than three to get a winner at roughly the same odds.

Great stuff all winners today and a tidy couple for you tonight Mr F…good to see the monthly SS stats sit as they do in what were potentially barren times in terms of what has been in front of us this last month.
Mine was a loser tonight but for me playing low stakes and bigger accas is sometimes the way to go for interest levels until the domestic/familiar leagues kick in – no significant impact on balance/sanity and enjoyed some mad games…a good few of which returned well.

Rangers may not beat Hibs on Saturday as they are still getting players in so are a bit behind other clubs probably in match fitness but they showed enough against Burnley to suggest they are a much better footballing side than last season.
After a few weeks i think they’ll be about 1/3 to win it so 1.72 is free money just now and if Rangers do sign Scot Allen from Hibs that price will fall further.
