Dumbarton beat me for the speculative Top Treble and Sundsvall not scoring downed the goals treble.
On Sunday there is a raft of friendlies and some Scandinavian league matches and I've looked at the latter before deciding on a goals bet.
Start in Sweden with both to score at Elfsborg v Gothenburg. Five of Gothenburg's last six have seen both score three of Elfsborg's previous four have gone over 3.5 goals. H2h it's been 1-1 and 0-0 but hopefully there will be goals.
Also in Sweden I'm on both to score at Hammarby v Falkenbergs. This is a relegation six-pointer and both teams have been involved in plenty of goal-laden games. Hammarby's last six have seen both score with three of them going over 4.5 goals. Five of Falkenbergs' last six have gone btts and Hammarby haven't kept a clean sheet at home – scoring 12 and conceding eight.
Head to Norway for two overs games. Three of Molde's last six, including a 4-3 defeat at Sogndal last time out, have gone over 3.5 while Start's previous four have gone over 2.5
Complete the fourfold with Stromsgodset v Tromso. The home men should win this but go for goals with five of their last six going over 2.5 and three of them going over 4.5. Tromso's last five have gone over 2.5 and they lost 2-1 on their last trip to Stromsgodset.
For a Super Single I'm risking 1pt on a draw in the big Swedish clash between AIK and Malmo. AIK are unbeaten at home but have drawn four out of six. Leaders Malmo haven't drawn a game this season but would take a point here.

Evening gents I have been reading info on lay betting on the Betfair exchange recently and thought I would have a go at it today. The bet was laying under 0.5 first half goals in one of the Swedish games after research I found that one of the teams had a goal in all games so far and the home side 92% so I was very confident on it. Backing it normally obviously would be quite short odds but laying unders meant I doubled my money. No if it lost I would have had to pay the liability. Has anyone had experience using this lay strategy? Thoughts and views always welcome

Going the other way and bet at 1.2 to win you 10 you bet 50 . You only pay commission on winnings ie. In this case 10 .

I fancied a goal to be scored in the first half of the Sundsvall game after checking the stats as you can imagine the odds were pretty short around 1.2 for backing this. So I chose to lay under 0.5 first half goals at odds of 3.7 which meant the following

Liability: £13.50 (would lose this amount if 0-0 at half time)
Profit/Loss: £5 (minus commission)
Means you are effectively acting as the bookmaker. Just wonder if anyone has tried this? Wondered if it could work a bit better than straight backing with some research and strategy. Something different too.

So being a newbie am I right in thinking when you place the best you don’t actually stake anything. If you win you get the stake you have placed as a return and if it loses you have to pay the liability?
